Sandra Dee grilled cheese. I will be trying to recreate this sandwich at home as my go-to sandwich. It was so freaking cheesy and delicious. The sweetness of the apples paired with the gooey cheese omgsh to die for. It looks small because it's pressed, but it was so filling. I also had the fried pickles after not eating any pickles for 25 years and those were incredible. I'm a sauce girl through and through and the garlic aioli and spicy ranch were phenomenal. I shook some of the garlic aioli on my sandwich and it just put it on a whole other level which I didn't even think was possible. Very affordable prices, excellent customer service, top notch ingredients and quality memorable food. Make sure to try them out when you're in Wichita!

Good things come in threes, and when it comes to food trucks, I guess they come in threes, too. This, the third sandwich shop on wheels after The Flying Stove and MMM Sandwiches, follows the trend I noticed when I visited the latter of those two previous examples: a bad precedent is being set for food trucks in Wichita.Having spent some time in L.A., Flying Stove got it right, with a truck, attitude, and culinary chops that pull it off reasonably well. They do things like Thai tacos, vegetarian tostones, and truffle fries. For example, I went to that event recently at the Ice Center where all three of Wichita's food trucks were gathered for charity or something. In the one corner, you had The Flying Stove, serving umami burgers with a parmesan crisp, sugar snow peas, and rosemary potatoes. Not stuff you expect to find in a truck in Wichita! Right next to them was BS Sandwich Press, which featured things like... sandwiches.Don't get me wrong, the basil turkey was all well and good (maybe not quite as pressed as it should have been, and the freshly-made chips were fine (definitely not as fried as they should have been), but you're throwing a panini press and a Fry Daddy into the back of a trailer and calling it a food truck. It's not even really a truck. It's a trailer. And if BS Sandwich Press gets to be called a food truck, then Wichita has had food trucks for years serving Mexican treats throughout the city. Again, I like sandwiches as much as the next person, but I'm not going to chase down a truck to get some cold cuts. The challenge of a food truck is finding something unique and portable to attract an audience. Chimichurri fries. Whoopie pies. Cheeseburger dumplings. We're getting diminishing returns here, and if people think the only requisite to become a part of the food truck culture is to renovate a trailer and hit the road, the city isn't really much better off.

****This update was to correct my grammar from my review from 2013**** This company has contacted me twice about my review. They clearly do not like my 2 star review. I am now changing it to a 1 star for them contacting me. Their sandwiches are just ok. They are something I could make at home. The potato chips were too thick and a little chewy. Not a food truck I would want to search out just to eat there.

Very disappointing to me, after all the buzz I've heard. We got there when they weren't very busy, still had to wait for what seemed like an in ordinate amount of time.I had the turkey pesto something rather, and it was just OK. Something I could've easily made at home, it seemed hastily put together, and nothing remarkable. And as other reviews have noted, there wasn't that much food for the price. I don't know, I guess I just was expecting something special. Additionally, this is the first food truck in Wichita I've tried, so not sure what I'll do next. Probably won't be back to this one...

They were suppose to be at a local business called Epic Sports on a friday, even facebooked and tweeted about it (thoses posts have now been conveniently deleted) but they never showed up. Didnt bother calling to inform anyone either at the business they were suppose to be at. That business had to call them to find out they werent coming. They never updated their twitter or facebook after announcing where they would be and no showing and also never responded to text in orders to let those people know they werent coming. Terribly unprofessional. My advice, try another food truck. By the sounds of it the sandwiches aren't that great anyway. Then again anyone can make a sandwich. Wish I could give a review of the food based on first hand experience but when they no show and dont respond to people asking where they are then delete the tweets and facebook posts it leaves a sour enough taste in my mouth.

After looking forward to trying the bs sandwich press for months, boy was I let down. The first time I was ready to try it 2 months ago, as we were showing up they were packing up because they were out of food. Yesterday when we finally had a chance to go, they were out of just about everything. After waiting for 30 minutes for our fish tacos, was I disappointed. The owner told me there was one full piece of fish on each taco, so my wife and I thought we would each get one. I am no eating competitor, but I could have eaten five by myself. With a depressing amount of fish, and saddened empty tortillas, I left starving wanting to settle for fast food just to get a real meal.B.S.: You upset my wallet, depressed my stomach, and hurt my feelings...

Not bad, I would have liked a bigger sandwich, but for $7, I should not complain. $4 more for fried pickles, which added a nice sour note to the sandy. I went to the food truck event on a Sunday, and thought this truck was one of the highlights of the day.

I didn't expect to be the lone positive review here, but I'm happy to step out on a ledge. It should be noted that I did not get a sandwich from the truck, instead opting for the Aloha Burger, which was amazing. The fries, however, were nothing to write home about.... nothing to write anywhere about.I'd definitely try a sandwich based on my burger experience. The Aloha burger will satisfy burger and sandwich fans alike. I highly recommend it.

Ordered the pesto turkey sandwich for lunch, and it was just okay. They were out of the normal bread, so they had to substitute another kind. Nothing to write home about. Will go again to try something else on the menu, but compared to the other food trucks around them it wasn't anything special.

I went to B.S. during the food truck rally by the riverwalk at the end of May. I waited 30 minutes for the fish tacos to be done. They were out of water, so I had to go another food truck for that too. Also, they said that they couldn't process my credit card because of Sprint's poor service near the river. I had 5 bars and fast 3G data.. so I'm not sure what that was about... luckily I had just enough cash (since I couldn't buy water). So the tacos were somewhat interesting in that they had a little honey (or perhaps maple syrup) in there, and the fish was cooked properly. Overall a couple bites were a little too sweet, but at least it was interesting. The price was OK also, I suppose, but the wait killed it for me. Food trucks are supposed to be relatively fast and convenient. If they can't get their logistics together, I don't see this truck being on the road for much longer.
