This is an old school barbershop & has been around forever. Brownie's son Ronnie now runs the place. 3 barbers on duty to serve. This is the kind of place that they remember your name when you come back in. There's also a beauty shop in the back.

A real barber shop, for those who prefer an experienced and trained barber over a 20-year-old "hair stylist". The owner, Ronnie, has been cutting hair for over 50 years (his hands are still steady, don't worry), while the other full-time barber, Yung, brings years of experience from Korea, cutting the hair of GI's and civilians alike. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, where old men tell their stories and young men go to listen. The skill of the barbers' is top-notch and they take their time to do the job right, so make sure you have an open schedule, especially if there is a line. I have been going to Brownie's for years, ever since I discovered it shortly after moving to town, and I won't trust my head in anyone else's hands. All in all you won't find a better barber shop in Wichita, and it is worth the drive even if you don't live in Delano.
