I currently live here. Hilariously, they used to be affordable for the amount of space they offered. My rent was 555 for a two bedroom. Then they painted the apartments and increased rent to 599. Then they added locking doors to each building to make sure only keyholders were able to enter buildings, increasing rent to 645. If you want to prop the door open to help you load groceries in your home? $50 fine. $25 if you're locked out.Not only do they not care about the actual quality of living here, they seem to actively ignore anything sensible. They don't punish people parking in front of the mailbox areas. They don't punish people who don't live here parking in our lots. They don't even punish people who smoke weed here, filling the whole building up with the smell of weed and making you in turn smell like weed after walking through the building to get outside. My balcony has been unsafe since we moved in, and they have not fixed the issue, so I gave up asking for it to be fixed pretty early on. They don't care about crime in the area, and though you can call the police for weed, they can't do anything (dogs, etc) without permission from corporate, apparently. BIG issues with roaches. Thank god I haven't seen or had any bedbugs here but apparently one apartment in my building was allowed to live in a pigsty here for like 5 years, causing the whole building to have an outbreak of roaches for a week, which was disgusting to deal with. Now they've not notified local post offices about their new locked doors, leading to "sorry we missed you" notes on the outside of buildings, and missing packages because they've ALSO closed their saturday office hours, despite not giving anyone notification that they would no longer be open saturdays. It's hard enough to go into the office as it is, because they take lunches whenever they can, closing the whole office down even though only one of the two of them should be gone at a time. The current manager Cassie should be focused on bolting down the parking blocks they just dropped everywhere, getting security to verify tags and keeping people from parking where they shouldn't, even in the walkways up to the doors. We haven't had a handicapped parking spot in front of our building for over a week because they didn't cement in the sign, so people just keep taking it out. There was even one instance where a fight had broken out in my building and there was blood ALL OVER THE WALL for TWO WHOLE MONTHS without being cleaned up, despite my weekly "hey please clean this" requests. There's ALWAYS broken glass outside our building, and sometimes toys. I call in during office hours and they don't respond, ever. I ask for a callback and get none. These people will not respond to you, they do not care, and they seem to be here just to collect a paycheck. It's been getting worse ever since their good manager left for a better job. I don't blame her, because this is ridiculous. Corporate visited recently, and even corporate doesn't know how to park in the lines. Their truck with maryland plates parked in two spaces, which really brings it all home. The company and its employees don't care about this property, and if you like loud trap music, smells of weed in the building every day, and sometimes shoes/toys/etc thrown at your vehicle (with no consequence to the people responsible, btw) then this is a great place for you. Even better, you live next to a park with gunshots sounding every few nights. Call corporate if you have similar problems! This is the closest contact I've found for them. (703) 317-9086

My mom and i live here and there's always diapers thrown outside, dog poop all over the grass, trash, food and the new "locked" doors don't even work. People are always yanking on them as hard as they can until they open up without needing to unlock so what's the point of them if they don't even serve there purpose just making life harder with carrying things inside and packages unable to get delivered, I had to go all the way down to USPS to get my package because the doors were locked so they "missed" me. The smell of weed all the damn time in my building too, when we ask them to fix something they say yeah within two weeks and it's been over a month no matter how much you bug them they take they're sweet time. The office is always closed like I walk all the way down there and they're not even there, one day I literally called and surprisingly they picked up asked if my package was there, it was so I said ok I'll be there in 5 and when I got there and they were closed. They could have said we're leaving or waited if I told them I was coming, always wasting out time. But if they're here to collect money they never miss that, it's all they care about, there's also always kids that don't even live in these apartments swimming at the pool jumping the fence. I'm not on the lease and we had to sign this paper as an agreement for the pool but my mom who is on the lease was out of town for 2 weeks. They said no she has to come so I had to wait those 2 weeks and when she goes and signs the paper, turns out she had already signed it last year, like seriously they had me wait all that time, and it would have been a violation of our contract if I would have gone w/out it being signed when it was already signed. Yet others enter the pool and they don't do anything about it, management here is horrible like I wish I could take control myself and manage these apts because they're clearly not doing there that great. The parking issue i barely now started seeing an improvement. The only good thing about these apt is they have good closet space and rooms aren't so small. So if you want good closet space and don't mind the other horrible things that come with it then you better start movin.
