Henry, our server, was knowledgeable, efficient and kind. My friend and I enjoyed lunch, and it was her first visit. She had Eggs Benedict, which she said was delicious, especially the Hush Puppies. Although they were out of my first choice, the Spicy Fish Sandwich, my second option was the Chicken Cutlet Club sandwich with avocado, bacon & trimmings. Very good, although a little messy, but that's what napkins are for. I ordered a cup of Crab Bisque as a side and there was some confusion as I got Tomato Bisque. Upon pointing it out the Henry, he made it right by bringing me a cup of Crab Bisque, so I was able to eat both soups! Both are great, but Crab Bisque was AMAZING! This was a quiet place for lunch. It's clean and very ascetically pleasing to the eye.

This is our second visit and most likely last. They did a great job on interior design. Our server was nice. The food is pretty...ok. Nothing near as good as Home Grown out of Wichita. Their prices are amongst the highest seen for breakfast places. You are better off eating elsewhere if you have a family. We got charged $7.50 for each 8 Oz pour of apple juice. The coffee is expensive but tastes worse than the cheapest on the shelf.

Ordered for three. My meal came timely and was pretty good. Other two meals arrived after I had completed eating mine. (And I ate slow). Wife had salmon Benedict. It was on a bagel, not an English muffin and the potatoes were hard and cold. My granddaughter had the pillows and they were okay. Prices were high. Hope they get lots of tourists for one-time visits. I would be quite surprised if the locals will support it. Many better options in town.

We had a great experience at Breaks. The food was fresh, interesting, and delicious. Service was friendly and helpful. The place was nicely decorated and modern. We'd love to stop by next time we are in Hays!

Food was amazing. We were asked to wait 10 minutes before being seated. So the chefs didn't get backed up. Didn't make a lot of sense with a room full of empty tables. Watched people get turned away at 1:50 when they close at 2:30. I would not be a content owner knowing this. I'm sure there is a reason, buttt.....

beautiful restaurant with a great selection of brunch and dinner options. my favorites are the French onion soup & pastrami sandwich. excellent service!

Our first, and LAST, visit to this eatery. My wife and I ordered two eggs, bacon and hash browns. Pretty simple....not! They only brought what looked like less than one egg, the hash browns were NOT hash browns they were very small and thin crispy french fries. (wish I could show a picture, they were really pathetic) The eggs were cold, the hash browns weren't.We will go to Ninth Street Grill or the Pheasant Run (which is right beside this "eatery").Don't make the mistake of "trying" this place. It's not worth your time or money.

Delicious food, Fantastic service, Pleasant atmosphere! We had breakfast and not only it was delicious but the plaiting was very appetizing! The decor in the Restaurant is very pleasant and the music very relaxing! Next time we are in Hays we want to go and have dinner.

Would leave a zero if I could, portions were very small. I would not complain about this, however prices were outrageous. Wait time was very long. Coffee was cold and was $5.00, the side of meat was a separate charge and was just one piece of sausage. French toast was also cold, and not particularly good for the price. This place is good if you don't really care about waiting a long time and having subpar food. Service was really good, I feel bad for the service staff, because they have to deal with so many upset customers.

Food was great! Atmosphere was very pleasant! Service was awesome! I had the Breakfast BELT+A and the Sunny Morning Mimosa and they were both wonderful. Would definitely recommend. The only thing I would've changed was that I wish there would've been some kind of light music playing for when conversations around the restaurant hit a low point, other than that, it was an all around good experience!!
