Pretty good taste, just a bit too heavy and thick on the rice. Would appreciate more ginger for the ginger lovers... Roll tasted fresh, nice and crunchy. Also tried the spring rolls/fried egg rolls.. small but not bad for the price, (4/$5) Would go back to try more rolls. Friendly staff.

Brayan Hibachi Express--6/2/21Case summary: About average Japanese fare featuring hibachi, sushi and a few classic appetizers.Food 3/5Brayan Hibachi Express is a food truck centrally located in Wellington. Located in a now vacant parking lot by the roundabout, they feature a large menu of classic hibachi entrees with a wide array of protein options. There is a picnic table on site as well, but I could tell most of the business would be carryout. For this outing, I chose their recommendation of hibachi chicken. It featured all white meat chicken, veggie medley (carrot, onion, broccoli and zucchini) and large helping fried rice. Right off the bat the chicken was over-cooked and somewhat dry. The sauce which is reminiscent of a teriyaki sauce was delightful however. The fried rice was cooked properly and otherwise unremarkable. Finally the veggie medley was predominantly zucchini, but was well cooked throughout.I also picked up a "Wellington Roll" which is a deep fried sushi roll featuring tempura shrimp, crab stick, and cream cheese. It was topped "yum yum sauce" (a sorta kinda mild spicy mayo) and topped with crab stick. As you can see from the photos, respectable rice to filling ratio and was otherwise a great choice for that crunch aspect. You also receive an extra side of yum yum sauce as well. The last dish I ordered was the jalapeño poppers with a sweet chili sauce. I would say this is the weakest dish as jalapeño itself was very thick throwing off the ratio of jalapeño to batter. It was crispy from the jalapeño itself and not from the fact it was deep fried. A thinner cut or smaller bite size pieces would carry this dish to what we all think about from our favorite bars.Overall I would try these dishes again if the execution was better. I believe if Brayan Hibachi Express were to execute the proper cook on the chicken as well as the jalapeño poppers, this would be a great little spot for Japanese cuisine in Wellington, Kansas.

Three teenagers and parents stopped by and so glad we did!! Stopped in town for gas and wanted something different. This little food truck was awesome. We had crab Rangoon, hibachi chicken and shrimp and assorted rolls. Everyone loved it.

I first posted a 5 star review when they opened now I will change it to 3. They have changed up there food so much it's not that good anymore. Spring rolls are horriaboe now, they need to go back to how they use to make them when they opened up. Rice is nasty also now. Not sure why they changed
