Bolling's Meat Market and Deli

Absolutely perfect reuben. Perfect proportions of each component. Delicious. Fast service even at noon. Two thumbs up. And in early 2019 they are moving to a bigger place a block away.

Great market in a small townThe grocery area has a lot of variety for a small town and the prices are reasonable. We were there for brats, leaving with apple, beer, whiskey and mango habanero as well as two pounds of hamburger. The brats cooked up perfectly. Apple and beer were sort of plain, as expected. Whiskey was spicy. Mango habanero was the most surprising. The sweet balanced out the heat so well that I ate many more bits of these than I expected. The price per pound was better than the local butchers around Lawrence.We also had a couple of cocktails at a very reasonable $6 apiece. Both were tasty.

The qualityof food and selection of drink available at Bollings is Excellent. Waitress service is available. The setting is multi-purpose. It is a meat store, restauranr and bar. The high ceilings increase the noise level and open air feeling. The the Covid 19 virus has affected business hours negatively. I have not attended since the advent of the pandemic. I hope they survive. Great local restaurant.

Wow. This place is awesome. The steak was awesome. The service was super and the inside was incredibly. And the steak cabinet has a wide choice.

Great place to eat! And buy meats and already prepared food Great deli and bar. A bit noisy but VERY CLEAN. Nice restrooms except for blower that hits you coming and going. Love this place. Very nice owners and staff.

On our way to Bolivar, Mo and needed some lunch. Stopped in right before closing time and found friendly, polite employees who immediately wanted to serve us. Had a roast beef and cheddar in a garlic & herb tortilla wrap. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes, bacon and amazing horseradish mayo to top it off. Ate outside on the small patio area. Would definitely stop in again!!

I would give them no stars if it was possible. Have visited this the meat market of this establishment twice.The first was less than pleasant, customer service and friendliness is not even in the employee handbook, however we gave them the benefit of a bad day , returned a few months later to equally rude employees.Sorry we will not return.

Very good food and great service! I've always been happy with the food here. It's a touch on the pricey side, but probably the best lunch place in town.

My brother and I were back home visiting our old stomping ground and decided to try this place out. We were pleasantly surprised to see the layout, setup, and design of the joint. I love history so I was excited to see the preservation of the historic building and the use of it's open space. This open market/restaurant/bar concept has become quite the trend in larger cities so it was refreshing to see an establishment at this level in this small town area. I ordered a seasonal sandwich that came with turkey, tomato, and avocado which is another option I did not think to be available in SEK. It was delightful and even more pleasing when it came on a crescent style bread. As much as I would have preferred to partake in a refreshing adult beverage during our stop, we opted to pick up a few dessert options instead. Overall, I was happy we checked this out and I hope to visit again soon!

Tasty food, amazing service, clean atmosphere. LOVE the new menu items as well as the old menu items!
