Bluestem Bistro

A nice niche coffee shop in the main Manhattan strip (: Bluestem has two different operating menus - depending on which days you're going! They have plenty of seating and a rush if clientele. We arrived right after they opened and got our coffee fresh and food pretty quickly, but turned around and saw the HUGE line at the counter. The space is very open and welcoming ! After grabbing a bite, I heavily recommend going across the street and checking out the corner bookstore !

Really cool niche little spot. Very french quarter vibes with excellent coffee selection and food items available! Only downer is that their main menu isn't available on Sundays but whatevs. The Breakfast Burrito is a pretty strong pick and holds it's weight with competitors in the surrounding area. The breakfast taco is also pretty strong in weight and flavor. Great spot to chill at and catch pokemon too! #TeamMysticFtw Service is very friendly and knowledgeable and fast, making it a great spot for vibes!

We came here because they are dog friendly (at least on the patio). The food was great too! Really liked the turkey and cranberry on wheat and of course I LOVED the cinnamon roll! The service was great and the staff were all very friendly! The ambiance has sort of a cool indie feel. Overall I really liked this place! The only thing that was a minor annoyance was they wanted a tip for counter service, self service water, and self service microwave. Current tip entitlement culture drives me nuts! If they had table service I'd drop 18% for a tip.... If I'm filling my own water and warming up my own cinnamon rolls, sorry - I can't feel good about paying a tip.

I like the food here! Very much a deli / college town place, but the coffee.... yummo!

Generally a nice, fairly quiet coffeehouse in Aggieville. They have a small meeting room that can be reserved in advance. They also have patio seating.

Food was very good. Looking for a quick bite while running around Aggieville and dropped in here. Nice options to choose from. Had the grilled cheese which was very good. Time between ordering and receiving food was also very good. Place was clean with solid ambiance

(WHERE IS THE *ZERO* STAR RATING?) JUST AWFUL. WON'T BE GOING BACK. Went for breakfast today and had the WORST EVER breakfast burritos (we ordered both kinds and split them). Mealy, tasteless MUSH. How do you F up something so simple? Likely powdered eggs. The grated 'pepper jack' cheese wouldn't even melt, it was still in matchstick form surrounded by egg/potato?/rice? GOO. TRULY AWFUL. BLECH!!! The counter staff was unfriendly and disinterested. I hate places like this that have the audacity to ask on the payment screen if I want to tip -- this has to STOP. Tips are for hard-working wait staff who don't earn a regular hourly wage and who actually pay attention to and take care of their customers - not hourly-wage counter staff.

Is the food fantastic? Yes. Pet friendly yes. Will I come back? Also yes B

We had breakfast one day and lunch another day. The food was great. Everyone loved their meals. The service was very friendly. The ambiance was casual and great for conversation. We highly recommend the tea selection and dining options. My favorites were the scones and lamb quesadilla.
