Blackbird Espresso Bar & Bistro

We stopped here while visiting family members. Blackbird is in a strip shopping center with Dillon's and Walgreens. There is a nice patio outside and plenty of seating indoors as well. We chose Blackbird because of the vegan, gluten-free, and healthier options. I enjoyed my yogurt parfait and warm GF brownie, and my partner appreciated his Greek salad and strawberry smoothie. We even came back a second day.You place your order at the counter, and the staff delivers the food to your table. The team was friendly and took the time to validate that some items were GF. We'll be back next time we're in town.

We came to Blackbird for an afternoon pickup. The coffees were delicious and the wait staff was kind, helpful & accommodating to our requests. The shop was clean and the ambiance was calm and delightful.

I love checking out local coffee shops when i travel. I got an iced espresso and a breakfast panini w bacon, egg and Cheese. The place was super cute inside. The guy that took our order answered all our questions and helped us decide what to order. The bacon was perfectly cooked and a good portion. The coffee helped me make it thru the work day.

A really nice place to work with good internet. Coincidentally they have great coffee and friendly service. :-)

Was in town in needed a quick bite, loved the hometown feel to this establishment while also having creative twists on breakfast and pastry ideas. The coffee selections were pretty vast, and their tres leches cupcake was to die for! I'm a basic girl who loves a good bagel and I enjoyed every bite of mine! Friendly staff and very clean. When I'm back in town this will definitely be my go to breakfast spot!

I went to meet some friends who frequent BB, it was fairly busy when I arrived. Blackbird is a small and quaint Bistro, they serve coffee, tea breakfast as well as cocktails and lunch/dinner food. The food and bakery items are fresh and tasty. On my visit today I ordered the Hot Matcha Latte with Sugar free vanilla, my friend ordered the brownie to go and it looked amazing! The staff there is nice and friendly and overall there's just a good vibe there.

Wonderful food and service. Made for a great Mother's Day Meet Up between Leawood and Abilene.

I absolutely love this local place! I have tried other coffee shops but this one exceeds all areas of what reviewers look for:1) Customer Service is top notch 2) Cleanliness is impeccable 3) Coffee was served hot not room temperature

This a little hidden gem. The coffee is amazing and I really like that they have a few different options for sugar free syrups.

Stopped here for breakfast & coffee on a hot Sunday morning. Busy but no wait for food/drinks. Ordered 2 cold brews, 2 wraps, and a peach cherry shortbread. Sat on the patio because our dog was along. Food was good, coffee was a godsend after 2 days of hotel coffee, service was fast & friendly. Great little spot, definitely worth stopping!
