Bill's Charcoal Grill

First time trying a burger at Bill's. First impression of the decor was a cross between a roadhouse and farm shed which is awesome! Was not expecting to see steaks and chicken sandwiches on the menu as I thought it was burgers only so that was a nice surprise. Ordered the double cheese burger medium. Place was not busy so food came out quick. I enjoyed putting my burger together since the veggies were in a separate baggie which kept them cool and crisp. The burger was more medium well but tasted absolutely delicious! The amount of char on the burgers was perfect and gave the burgers that backyard bbq taste. Fries were nice and crispy. I was very impressed and must say it's the tastiest burger I have had in Wichita so far. Reasonably priced too. Can't wait to be back to try their steak and chicken sandwich.

Food was good but it must have sat for a little bit in the back. Both mine and my boyfriend's burgers and fries were just barely warm. We dined in on a cool night out and the place was clean and cozy.

This is a great find!!I was searching for a place to stop for lunch and found a few places but didn't really want to travel that far from our job site.They are know for their CharBurgers and that is exactly what I got! In my case I got a Chili Cheeseburger. They are all cooked to order but the wait wasn't long. Interesting method of serving, all condiments are on the side. I'm other words if you don't like something don't put it on!Now I will have to warn you - the Chili is like molten lava, it's best to let it sit for a little bit. Dress & fix your burger before trying!The great thing about the chili is that there is enough left over to have chill fries. The burger was excellent and the bun held up nicely. I would definitely recommend any of the burgers!This was a very casual atmosphere and the old fashioned decorations keep the eyes moving! Very unique and worth the time to check out while waiting for the burger.This is a must visit!!!

Nice place.Food takes awhile to get but worth the wait.Good prices.Nice people running the place.Ill go there every time I'm in the area .I got the double chili frank.Its a chili dog on a hamburger bun.The chili is awesome.Go here.

Burgers were pretty good. Fries were awesome!! Passing through so probably won't be back but if we lived there, it would be a great place to eat.

Burgers were great.It was a little small & we went at a very busy time, but it's a cute local burger shop.

Doesn't look like much as you drive past but we decided after many trips past we would check our out. Definitely has a hole-in-the-wall feel. Upon entering, you look around at the unique decor and unassuming interior.We ordered their #2 Cheeseburger w/fries & #7 Cheeseburger topped with a split hot link w/side of baked beans. They asked how we wanted our burgers and we both said medium. They came out more well done. Although the burgers had a good charcoal flavor, they weren't anything to write home about. Both the fries and baked beans were more than likely Sysco or US Foods.Just wasn't impressed.

Today marked the First Annual RIBIT Review (Ribeye Integration Testing) consisting of a panel of 5. Each ribeye was judged based on the standard USDA practices of Taste, Texture, Appearance, Doneness, and Overall Impression. The compiled score results based on a scale of 5 are as follows:- Taste: 4.3- Texture: 4.2- Appearance: 4.8- Doneness: 3.6- Overall Impression: 4.1The staff was very accommodating and inviting per usual. The turnaround for the steaks was roughly 12 minutes which was perfect for a lunch run.The Ambiance is that of a loving grandmother's ranch house which grants the ultimate ribeye eating experience.Given this review the RIBIT board grants Bill a score of "A" for Ribeye lunch.

I love to get away to Bill's!The food is great, with an awesome flavor coming from the charcoal cook. Portions are more than enough and priced very reasonably. Fries are some of my favorites in town. The burgers never disappoint.Service has always been friendly. It can be a little busy and hectic at lunch, but I'm not surprised.

Good as it ever was! Love the flavor of the meat. All employees have always been kind and pleasant. Its nice they kept all the original decor. The antiques are interesting and it gives a homey feel.
