We had our catalytic converter stolen while visiting in Wichita. The police recommended Bill's American Muffler as being a fair and professional business to get the repair completed. They were right. They were so kind and understanding with us. They got our car in right away and replaced it very quickly so we could be on our way. We would very highly recommend this business. Wichita has a HUGE problem with catalytic converter theft. Bill's American Muffler replaced ours the next day by welding a new cat on to the left over system from the theft. A dealer would have replaced far more parts (good useful parts) pulled the engine, and charged a huge amount more. I'm 100% satisfied with the solution from Bill's.After I paid I went to the vehicle and checked it over. I noticed the pipe coming off the manifold hung down a little low and nearly touched the tie rod, I let the engine idle, all was good. After we put the car in gear it made noticeable noise. They immediately fixed it by shortening that piece I mentioned. So a near flawless repair, but they made it right with no fuss. Also, get your price with the catalytic converter sensor included. Also, Google CAT Strap to keep people from stealing your cat again. Especially in Wichita!

My main mechanic recommended I go here because he thought my catalytic converter was going out. They were able to get me in the next morning. Super friendly guys, had me in and out in 30 minutes. They could've easily sold me a new catalytic converter, but they said I wouldn't need one for a good while. They didn't charge me or take advantage of me, which I really appreciate. While I was waiting, another gentleman came in asking for a simple weld for his rim. They had him in and out in five minutes and only charged him $10. This definitely was a legit place.

While here visiting family our catalytic converter got stolen in the middle the night at our hotel. We had three separate friends and family members recommend bills American muffler and I have to say they come highly recommended for good reason.Cindy, at the front desk, was just a complete sweetheart and very sympathetic to our situation and it was just a breath of fresh air in a bad situation.The guys out back that were doing all the work, just great dudes and I appreciate all of the work that they did for us. They do quality work.As we took our two day journey to drive back home I have to say that everything is held up really well. I'm happy that we are able to make it back home safely and I just really want to thank everyone that works there for doing such a fine job. Considering this was not just a standard job and our vehicle was vandalized, I have to say that the pricing was very fair and a really good value and I highly recommend Bill's American muffler!
