Big Red Barn Rv Park

I can't say enough positive things about this campsite! It's tucked away but not too far out of the way. The owner/management is amazing. She was super accommodating and helpful with our requests. The facilities were sparkling clean! Several of the campers are long term for work and friendly. It was a nice, quite place to stay. We brought our bicycles along to ride parts of Route 66. We went both east and west and it was great road riding! Everyone in town was friendly. It rained one evening so we went to Webb City and joined the VFW for some Bingo - the gang couldn't have been nicer there! Carthage is a must stay/check out place!

This place is so nice. We have stayed at many rv parks. These ladies were so accommodating. We came last minute for stop overnight as the weather was getting bad. (Historical rain and flooding) They told us where to find all road closures and gave us all the help we needed. They offer veterans discounts. Clean facilities, easy drive through. Good cable selection and internet, pet friendly. I would say this is better than a lot of KOA camps we have stayed at. I recommend this place to anyone.

This park was above average. Everyone was friendly and informative about the area. There was no bugs that was Pleasent, as advertised no noise. I would recommend this park to fellow travelers

Wow the perfect place to us. We were passing through super quiet super clean and reasonable for full hookups. Had no idea Precious Moments 3 miles away. Wishing for more just like these as new Airstream owners.

OMG! Quiet, clean, level spots ,gravel and a concrete patio. Big enough for our RV with tow. No need to disconnect. The cable for TV best we've had traveling on the road. Couldn't make it before the office closed. The manager was very polite when I called. Just pick a spot and drop by the office in the morning. Our pet loved walking around. We definitely will visit again. Thanks for the yummy cookies!

This is a nice quiet RV park with well maintained grass lawns, beautiful flower beds, and large shade trees. That being said, we didn't experience those beautiful sites because we were put in the back of the park, amongst the full time residents. We stayed for one month and the entire time we were there, the laundry was out of order...no big deal, as there was a nice laundromat close by. All in all, we had a good stay. We would stay again, but would request a nicer spot!

A very lovely park - clean, quiet and accommodating. The flowers are plentiful and the spring crop has buds ready to burst open! No enclosed bark park but there are lots of grassy areas - our 'girls' really enjoyed their walks. We also took advantage of the Precious Moments factory being only a few minutes away and enjoyed a couple of peaceful hours wandering their beautiful grounds and chapel and shops. A much needed respite to break up our trip home. We will definitely be back during our southbound trip next October. Highly recommended!

Super clean bathroom with awesome showers! Missy always had fresh coffee going while we were there, hiding out in the rec room from the cold

We absolutely loved this place!It is the best kept secret of this area!The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly- and it seemed we needed more help than usual.The bathrooms, showers, and laundry are very clean, maybe a little older, but comfortable and clean.The sites are level, and in warmer weather you may want to ask for a shaded site.

Second time we are here. Came her last year by chance. Top notch RV PARK. very clean and well organized. New equipment. Sites well maintained. And the WIFI is crazy good. They have more than one transmitter so you get a great signal no mater where you are parked. Great people to talk to. Check out there store. You won't be disappointed.
