Random. Loud. Noises. "Holiday Manor" may be a bit grand but a mostly clean, motel - style (rooms exit to the outside) establishment where random truckers and working men passing through town can lay their heads at night, that's what this is.

Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast. Upbeat guests when we stayed there. Beautiful at Christmas time.

I stayed at this hotel for a few weeks while I was on business in McPherson. I had no other option as the Hampton Inn was booked. First, the good things about the hotel is the location. It is connected to the Kansas bar and Grill and there is also a Burger King and Travel store on the other side of the hotel. Now, the real problems:1. The housekeeping is terrible. I unfortunately had spilled pasta in my bed. The next day I deliberately took the blankets off so that the housekeepers could see the stains. However, they simply made the bed up over the stain. I complained to the manager and the next day Housekeeping came. This time they tried to "wipe off" the stain - rather than changing the sheets. I took pictures and sent them to the assistant manager who was very nice and offered to come change the sheets herself. The housekeeping also did not vacuum or clean the bathrooms. Left me an empty paper toilet roll . 2. This hotel is known for attracting "suspect" individuals. During my time there I witnessed shady behavior (drug related) of some of the guests. I also had someone knock on my door in the middle of the night. The hotel rooms open to the outside so it does not feel safe. I was by locals that the hotel is known to have people sell drugs out of the rooms. I'm sorry I have to post this bad review because the front desk and Kitchen staff are both VERY friendly and helpful, which is why I rated it a 2 star instead of one. Housekeeping department needs work.
