Best Inn Motel

I purchased the room online. When we showed up to check in they could not find our reservation. My partner said he would just pay for a room since he didn't thing I had already paid for it (which I did!) and when they went to charge us for a room she saw we in fact did have a room. After some time researching the problem she said that the employee working earlier had checked "us" in earlier in the day. Turns out they gave our room away to someone else under our reservation!!! After too much time she ended up giving us the other guest's room. As for the room we got it is an accessible room, so it is large and had 2 queen bes instead of a king as purchased. The room was very nice, but the mix up was a bummer considering it was very hot outside as I waited 20 minutes for my partner to return.

I stayed at this place in 2017, and obviously liked it enough to visit it again 6 years later. The biggest reason I like this is that it is much more than I would normally expect for the price.For the most part, the property is what you would expect out of a 1-2 star hotel. Window A/C and Heat unit that is loud and either roasts or freezes you if you run it for too long. No amenities, but everything is very clean. The place really has a DIY vibe to it. Most cheap hotels, they have one of about 3 designs on their sheets, which may or may not be old enough to vote. The beds and sheets here are more like you're staying in someone's spare room. The room also had a small fridge and microwave, big Visio tv, and a table built into a cubby in the wall.Not really sure that all the cords from the various outlets are up to code, but the place is fine for a 1 night stay. However, you're probably not going to want more than 1-2 people in the room. It's going to be too cramped of quarters otherwise.

Very well kept hotel. Great place to stop along the way a long trip. There is no continental breakfast, just as an FYI if that's a big deal for you. They do have a small coffee bar in the building to the side of the motel. We stayed in one of the rooms in the building beside everything else. It was very nice, but we booked for a double queen (it was advertised as such on Hotels.com) and the room was clearly a double full. For 4 adults, that was a tight squeeze, but we made it work. Also, we believe the rooms are all connected to one small water heater because I was the only one able to shower after 10 minutes. All the hot water went out like *snap* that. The beds are a little overly firm too. All of us woke up with kinked necks and sore backs. All in all, not a horrible experience, but just needs some minor details to make it better.(Edit): Another weird part about this hotel is that it seems none of the staff members are actually on sight. Either they are off doing random things, stay at home a few minutes away from the hotel, or something else. If you need to get a hold of them, you either ring the doorbell at the front office or call the owner's phone number which is posted on the door. They are pretty punctual about it, but still seems weird to me.

I have stayed here several times now and I plan to stay here whenever I am in Salina, KS! The bed is very comfortable and the room is very nice!I like that it is conveniently located near several good restaurants! I like that some rooms are located directly next to the parking lot so it is easy to unpack and pack your vehicle! And the manager is a great guy!

The man who owns this motel is extremely rude. He will quote you one price on the phone, then another, more expensive price when you arrive. Three stars because it's clean & safe.

If you are on a budget this is the place to stay hands down. Owner was very polite and humble. We really enjoyed our stay here. Not too far from the Steifel Theater.

Only stayed one night but got in pretty late. Within a few minutes of calling the front desk someone was out and getting us checked in. Rooms were extremely nice and comfortable. Highly recommend for a pit stop hotel!

5 stars for the price range. Everything worked well, AC, microwave, fridge, large TV, etc. Everything was super clean and orderly. Convenient parking right outside my door.I'll definitely return if I ever stop through Salina, KS again.

We were a little apprehensive since we chose this motel based on price (but good reviews). What a nice surprise to fine a brand new building. No frills or breakfast but it had everything we needed. Very clean and minutes from downtown and main Highway. Roger was very friendly and accommodating.

Not a luxury motel by any means but it got the job done and for a great price. We were in the middle of a cross country drive and needed somewhere cheap to stop to get some sleep. They accommodated our very late check in & the room was pretty clean. It was not fancy by any means but it was a good place to spend the night and for a price we could afford!
