The menu is wonderful! I love the mushroom soup. I was at this location 2x this week. I ordered the mushroom soup and Caesar salad. Soup: excellent as always.I received 2 completely different Caesar salads on both days. Not bad, just completely different. Obviously mixed by different people.BUT, the ladies bathroom had a broken toilet seat on BOTH days I visited. Really???? NO one can replace the toilet seat???? Ick

whenever I'm in Wichita this is my go to! lovely restaurant and staff plus incredible food. You can tell the chef takes pride in his work.

Absolute worst service we've had at a restaurant that was likely not the waitstaff's fault. We have eaten here in the past, but the only items my wife enjoys has been the chicken lasagna and the Maggie salad. We had t been in some time because they had removed the chicken lasagna until recently, so we thought we go back for dinner.My wife ordered her chicken lasagna and Maggie salad while I ordered the stuffed pork chop. The salad came out before the entrees, which was to be expected. When the entrees arrived, the waitress set my meal down and chose that moment to tell us they were unable to prepare the chicken lasagna. I have NEVER seen such a misstep at even the lowest form of chain restaurants in my life. The waitress should have been informed the chicken lasagna wasn't available as soon as the ticket was sent to the kitchen. The kitchen should never have prepared the pork chop until the waitstaff verified my wife wanted something else or at least gave us the option to leave before ordering. The salad shouldn't have even been brought out until we had been informed my wife's selection wasn't available. To make up for this mistake we were offered a free desert. It does no good when you're a diabetic. To add insult to injury, they forgot to take the chicken lasagna off the bill.Needless to say it's our last trip to what has been a very good restaurant in the past.As for the pork chop, it had good flavor but was very over cooked and was a little tough. The scalloped potatoes had good flavor but also had some cold spots.

I got an order of hummus to go along with "vegetables"and it was $16 and it was a teeny tiny, maybe enough for one person, and then some cucumbers and olive and a little pickle. I went to Meddys today and for $10 I got three times as much and it is every bit as good as Bella Luna.

Delicious, delicious. I crave their food. The fish and chips? So good with this light and crispy batter.

Love This food and service every time! I think they should have a higher rating because the managers were so nice and the atmosphere is calming yet you're able to talk aloud.

Bella Luna cafe USES THERE BARE HANDS FOR ALL FOOD PREPPING! Idc what none of yall say that is the most GROSSEST THING YOU CAN DO As a business caught them in 4k and also yes it was my first time going. They also said they typically do that so be safe out here

Have been to Bella Luna restaurants many times in the past, but was very disappointed this time for my first visit to the East location. Came in and was greeted by a very tall young man. He was very nice and seated the 3 of us. Good startThe waitress came by and did not offer us any appetizers or cocktails. She ask us though what we would like to drink. We ordered a soda, water with no ice and lime, water with ice and lime.When she brought us our drinks both waters were with lemon and not lime. We did ask for limes and she brought a cup with 2 lime slices.She then proceeded to take our order, we order pasta carbonara with no mushrooms. She was polite and stated there was no way to take the mushrooms out, so opted to get it anyway. So instead of an Alfredo sauce that is described in the menu, they use the mushroom soup in place of the Alfredo sauce. We also ordered the Chicken Curry and Seafood Trio. Our food was out in less than 5 minutes which lead me to believe that it was all pre-made and just dished up onto a plate. We did see other waiters bring bread to table, but none was brought to ours. Food was delivered by other waiters and they did not know who got what!The pasta carbonara had so many mushrooms that my guest spent his entire meal picking them out. I added his mushrooms to my chicken curry. My chicken curry with the exception of the thinly slice yellow squash moon looked like it was pulsed through a Cuisinart. Everything was smaller than peas sized, including what chicken I found. The seafood trio had peas sized bay scallops, ,the shrimp had the tails left on. Spinach with woody stems left on it, could not really tell if there was crab or not. There was this thin opaque triangle, what we thought maybe fish, which we thought maybe uncooked fish, but couldn't tell. His food too was finely chopped to pea size except for the mussels and shrimp. The waitress did come by once close the end of the meal and while walking by not stopped to hear our answer, asked if everything was ok.The waitress was polite but not personable. Can I take your drink order Can I take your order Food delivered by other wait staff and did not know who had what While walking by and not stopping, asked is everything ok Came by and ask do you need a box and is this one check, we said to split Dropped the checks off. Never asked us if we wanted dessert.Had been waiting all week and bragging to my friends about this restaurant. and was so embarrassed. The College Hill (now closed) and the West restaurant were amazing and will go back to the West restaurant. This is my first and last time at the East restaurant

I called ahead and made a pickup order on my lunch break.. Picked up my order. The server that rang me out was very unpleasant for some reason. He seemed like he didn't wanna be there period. I left with my food. Started to eat my chicken schwarma and immediately noticed something seemed off about the taste of the chicken.. I had several more bites and I just knew something was off by the taste or smell of it. I didn't finish it because either was so turned off by the taste and smell. I literally thought to myself, "if I get sick tonight I will know why." (Spoiler alert I did get sick)I noticed they did not give me any silverware to eat the soup I ordered so I had to drive back to the restaurant. When I walked in, the server gave me a disgusted look like "why are you back here?" But just stared at me. Didn't ask what was wrong. I politely told him "I didn't receive silverware in my order." He looked at me. Didn't say a word. Turned around and walked off to grab some silverware and gave it to me. Still no words. Just seemed annoyed. ***Fast forward to later that day..Sure enough. I became ill and have been for 6 days now.. I am pregnant so this worries me about food poisoning or eating expired chicken. Will not be eating here again. **

The food and service here are always great. The ambience is also very nice. They did such a nice job around Christmas time with decorations and music. I usually have the chicken hummus shawarma and it is amazing! This is one of my go-to spots in Wichita.
