Beau Monde Spa and Boutique

I desperately needed a massage from old age and stresses of wife. I mean life. autocorrect. I wrapped up work way early and decided to find a spot to hang out. I needed a place with free wifi and someone to work out the knots in my back. Not only was Beau Monde able to accommodate me today, but I happened to book my appointment during "off peak hours" and received a substantial discount! I got there 1.5 hours early. Sierra greeted me with a pearly white smile and showed me the facility. It was very zen; clean everything and spa-y music. She showed me the Men's locker, which to be honest, was small, but it was all mine. I took and shower and took advantage of the the minty body wash and shampoo! I could tell this place was more catered to women, since it smelled really nice and I was the only male in the building. I dumb ass self sat in the men's locker bench the whole 1.5 hours thinking it was the "lounge". I was sorely disappointed when my masseuse, Dawn, came to get me and walked me pass the actual lounge with sofas and magazines. That's how nice the lockers are. Dawn is a fantastic masseuse. She might be petite, but she is super strong with freakishly soft hands. Very, very professional too. I dozed off 3-4 times, but only woke up because I snored too loud. I was a little embarrassed, but there was no snickering or jeering. After the massage, Dawn let me know to take my time and come out when I was ready. I rolled off of the table, got dress, and was greeted by Dawn was a big smile and an ice cold glass of cucumber water. My only request is to have a couple large bath towels in the actual shower area. I had to make a mad dash from the shower to locker area to grab a towel. Thankfully, no one was around. Overall, if I lived in Wichita, I would definitely make this my go-to massage joint. Clean facility, friendly/professional staff, and reasonably priced. My 1-hour deep tissue massage came out to be 100 w/ tax & tip.

I have found my place! I traveled from Emporia, desperate for some relaxation and rejuvination, and was not disappointed. I decided on a pedicure and a 90 minute deep tissue massage - both were excellent and I only wish the spa was closer. There's a cute shop upon entering the spa and the amenities that come along with the massage are fantastic!

I came in for a hydra facial and Megan was INCREDIBLE! She was so informative and she only did what was necessary for my skin. I was never hassled or unnecessarily upcharged and my skin looks amazing. She also recommended some products for me to maintain my results at home. Thanks so much!

I enjoy stopping by this place to check out what going on ever so often. I can appreciate their techniques and concept but the last two times I got my eyebrows done here they didn't do such a good job, but it was the same lady they gave me each time. I don't like the hard wax they have used in the past.

Went once for a massage, not my usual Spa. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent service there. Really makes you feel fancy and valued as a customer. The Relaxation room is amazing and I loved that it didn't feel like they were rushing me to leave.

Got an awful prenatal massage. She was very rough even though it was a relaxation massage and not a deep tissue. Even after tensing up multiple times she didn't stop or even try to be lighter. Very painful and uncomfortable. I asked for certain areas to be worked on a little more, didn't happen. She massaged my throat which was the worst part. I don't know if she knew where my neck muscles are but she was clearly rubbing my throat and it hurt. I'm pregnant and in extreme pain after the massage and feel worse:( bummed I didn't get her name. I really like this spa but would NOT want her again.

I had an excellent deep tissue massage from Jenny. She is very thorough and knowledgeable about different techniques and integrating them together smoothly. I've scheduled every 2 weeks for the next 2 months just to make sure I can get in.

If you get the lash lift and tint she may or may not get your bottom lashes and you still have to pay full price if she doesn't. Also if you're going in for a pedicure to relax, not the joint, they talk the whole time.

Very nice staff members who are very accommodating and helpful. Facility is awesome with the tranquility wait rooms w/complimentary drinks, small snacks. Disappointed w/the lashes. She does them w/entirely too much adhesive. They get chunky/bulky and she double ups lashes to one synthetic one. I'm not sure if it's on purpose or lack of skill or laziness. They would fall out somewhat frequently (two lashes per one synthetic). Went three times, second time let her know they were chunky to see if she would do better. Had them removed and lashes ended up sparse. Would not recommend. BewareTry "Love Lashes by Jeneal", she does amazing amazing work! 4/5 Stars for the Spa itself, 1/2 stars for lash service

Completely overpriced. I went for an hour long massage for $85. It was an okay massage and the price was reasonable. Weeks later though, I went for a cut and color and it cost me $308! Yes, I have long hair, but I wasn't expecting it to cost more than $200! Never coming back!
