I took my truck in because it wouldn't start. They told me I needed new battery cables which is fine. They charged me $200 for diagnosis and $100 for new cables and $200 for installation. Which seemed fair. Until I got home and realized instead of replacing my cables they cut them and spliced them about 15 inches from the battery. Which means I paid $200 for about 10 minutes worth of work. So beware if they are to lazy to run a new cable from my battery to my starter that only involves removing one bolt. What short cuts are they doing to your car?

After dealing with many different auto shops, Auto Smart was a breath of fresh air! Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely wanting to help.I called early in the morning and was greeted and treated nicely and all of my questions regarding repairs were answered knowledgeably. No early morning attitude! Over a year ago the dealership told me I need about $2,000 worth of repairs to have it ready for a trip to Colorado. I took it to my neighborhood shop and they didn't think I needed all that work, but could assess it completely as they are not a full repair place -- they recommended Auto Smart. Am I ever glad I went! They went over the car thoroughly and explained why they agreed with the dealer ship AND when they differed they explained why. Having little money for unexpected car repairs they helped me figure out what I must do before the trip and what could wait. They even helped arrange financing for the repairs. The were courteous, patient and professional in all their interactions. They were quick and finished when promised. I have been back ever since then, including when I was looking at buying a vehicle. The mechanics found about a $1,000 worth of repairs needed and recommended that I mot buy it unless the dealership would do the repairs or lower the price by $1200. Thanks to them, I was firm that the problems be fixed 1st or price lowered or I'd walk. I got the car, after they made the necessary repairs! Oh, they also warrant their work, don't find that often. They are the 1st repair shop that I am confident that the work they recommend is needed, that the work will be done correctly, and the price fair. (And I'm 60 years old).

I've done business with them before and they charge a good rate for mounting balancing tires, so that is why I took my car in for AC repair, I explained to them that it has extended warranty, and they said that the warranty will not pay for Freon or the actuator, and I said I understood, the next they called me saying total comes to $219 and change, they did the work without even telling how much it was going to be and to confirm weather to do the work or not , when I get there they tell me that the total was $244 and change, I said I was told the total was $219, then he said that was without tax, the Technician even had the Audacity of telling me that the warranty company was not my friend, and they charge me more than $200 for AC recharge, outrageous rate for a 30 - 45 min job, be warned!!!oh yeah they even told me that the motor oil was low and that is why I hear a rattling sound, they do unauthorized work but they can't even add a quart of oil, especially after charging so much for recharging the FreonI know where I'm not going when my engine goes out and the extended warranty will pay that somewhere else!!!

I have been a customer of Auto Smart for many years and I have given the benefit of the doubt in a few situations that have occurred where others would have walked away and never returned.I took my vehicle in at 8am June 30, 2022 to have the techs look at previous work that they had done at Auto Smart that the dealership said was the issue. Anyhow my vehicle is always clean and very well taken care of both inside and out. After being called and being told my vehicle was ready for pick up, I was shocked at the condition my car was in. It was absolutely filthy both inside and outside like someone went for joy ride in my vehicle on a dirt road. I walked back into the building and asked what in the world happened to my vehicle and was told nothing so I asked Zach to come and see what I was talking about and all I was told was that my vehicle was driven by his little brother and he must have went down a dirt road. In total my gas was under half a tank when prior to top off it was slightly under 3quarters of a tank. I'm sorry this is never ok. I pamper my vehicles and I have never taken it on a dirt road. This is horrible customer service returning my car in this filthy condition then I'm suppose to go and wash it? Not how you treat a customer that has been giving you business for over 10 years. I'm not sure what's happen since Scott hasn't been at this location and his children run it now but, it's not a way to keep my business. SMH guys
