Great selection of wine and craft beer as well as spirits. The cigar shop next door has a fantastic lounge.

I drove clear back across town to visit this place after I moved because they had always been so wonderful. While their selection is still fantastic, two different people who I asked for help from were very dry and not at all friendly. They got the transaction done but there wasn't a bit of engagement. It's not the same place. What happened?

The cigar lounge has nice leather furniture and tables with cutters and quality ash trays at your disposal. It is a members lounge though so you need a membership to join which is 100$ or so for a year but for 150 you can get a temperature and humidity controlled locker which is convenient. You also get 10% off single cigars and 20% off 20 cigars or more. The only complaints are that there is a sink and microwave with a keurig which somewhat dirty and dated. The bathroom could also use an update since it is somewhat barren and has no design, theres an ash tray in there which i thought humorous. Overall a nice place to get a membership and relax. They have wifi so i like to do homework there during the day which is a plus.

Always had good experience in this locally owned place. Great selection and awesome service. Great selection of cigars next door and staff who are passionate about the product they provide.

I'm here visiting from Oklahoma, and my friend & I went to get beer from this store. The first day one male employee totally ignored my friend (after being there for about 5 minutes), but jumped right in to help a young girl that just walked in. The girl at the register was extremely rude while we were paying out. My friend placed her case of beer and bottle of whiskey on the counter to be rang up. The girl rudely asked "What about the the bottom of the cart?" My friend told her that I was paying for it. She rolled her eyes as that was the end. No "thank you," or anything else was said. Today we went back and the same girl was checking us out at the register, again two separate transactions. She acted like we were bothering her to do her job, and trying to steal because we needed two transactions. I have worked in Customer service for 20 years. I Usually try to give the benefit of the doubt when someone is rude and think maybe they're having a bad day. This particular time I don't believe that to be the case, because it was 2 days in a row. If the first AND last person a customer has interaction within a business is unpleasant the customer will NOT return.

Best liquor store in town. They have a wide range of options and we can always find the newest release products here before anyone else gets them. Staff is always so knowledgeable and friendly to us. Would recommend this business over any other one

I traveled from AZ to KS and needed a place that had wine from OR and Hazy IPA's. I called them a few weeks before my travel and they assured me that I could find both in their store. I showed up and found everything I needed. Yes, the staff was a little stuffy, but I think all these people reviewing this store need to get over themselves and stop being so sensitive. People are people, remember that. I do an annual trip to KS every year and this will be my stop every year going forward. Thank you Auburn Spirits even with your "rude" employees who roll their eyes : )

Great selection of hard to find whisky. Staff was attentive and friendly as well. Will be back for sure.

I have purchased spirits from Auburn Spirits for years. I drive past several other spirit retailers to do so. There are one or two individuals in the store who have horrible customer service skills. Regardless of the economy, Hospitals, Funeral Homes and Liquor Stores will always thrive and the attitude of these individuals reflects that. What difference does it make if you lose a few customers, right? I was treated like a second class citizen today and it will be my last visit to this dump.
