Asian Wok

Café Asia used to be one of my all-time favorite Asian restaurants anywhere in the USA, so you can imagine my joy when I found out that the owners of this much beloved establishment have been operating Asian Wok since 2021. I wish I had known this sooner, but we immediately had to check out the "new" place. Compared to Café Asia, Asian Wok has a more condensed menu, shorter hours, and are carry-out only, all of which makes for a more efficient business model.Just like Café Asia, the food here is still the same - the best fried rice (get it spicy), Panang Curry, and chips and strawberry sauce. Above all, the best part is the owner still has the same energy, smile, warmth, and love in everything she does. I can't wait to come back here on my next visit to Wichita.

We order carry out 3-4 times per month. The beef and vegetables, Penang chicken curry both ordered with with "medium" spice are some of our favorites. Consistently delicious with fresh ingredients.

Tried this place for the first time tonight - we had Pad Thai, Singapore Rice Noodles w Shrimp, General Tso's Chicken, and pork egg rolls. The person on the phone was very kind, and they were very friendly in person when we picked up. The food was hot, tasted awesome, and was filled to the brim. Why can't all places be like this?I'm a little ashamed I haven't been there before, and the whole family agreed we need to make this a regular stop. Waaaaay better than Great Wall, and also some Malaysian and Thai dishes!

The owner is super nice! We came in wanting some fried rice and didn't realize it was only to go that day. But she let us sit outside and eat and even gave us complimentary egg drop soup. My husband ordered spicy fried rice and general TSO. And it was way too spicy for me. But he liked it. I liked their egg rolls and the sweet and sour sauce is my favorite that I've found in Wichita so far. It reminds me of my grandma's restaurant's sauce. It's very nicely decorated inside. She takes care her own plants in the front. It's almost like a home. I appreciated her hospitality and she took time to know a little about us.

Asian Wok food continues to be the BEST for when we need to crave their delicious Asian dishes. We are sad that Chef suffered a painful injury last year that forced this amazing couple and their family to limit to takeout only. However, they have soldiered on and still serve their loyal customers the yummy food they have always depended upon. For taste, quality, and friendly service you can't do better!

Good food that's consistent, great value - definitely can get 2 meals out of most entrees, friendly people, ready in 15 minutes, and they have some kids menu options if you ask.

This is the best ever!! We love this place. My favorite is the Chicken with Vegetables.

Delicious, fresh food with large portions. Bonus is the nicest person working the front! Will definitely try more dishes in the future.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Wichita. The service is amazing- the people are so friendly. Went in before Christmas after the snow/ice and my table was given free egg drop soup to warm up. Very considerate.The Pad Thai is delicious! Ever time I go I want to try something new but I just love it so much I can't! Portion sizes are great for the price! The crab rangoon with their sauce is the perfect starter!
