Artistic Cakes

Oct 2023: I went here to to try some baked cookies. I purchased a few chocolate chip cookies, cranberry, and a lemon cookie. Cost $15 and some change for 5 cookies...not bad price...I got inside my vehicle and couldn't wait to try it. I took my first bite into my cranberry cookie and then another bite into my chocolate chip cookie...cookies were cold and was falling apart as I was holding it. I'm not sure if I have high expectations since it's a bakery but I was not impressed. I took a small second bite and then a third but it tasted the same all three times. Cookies were cold and falling apart...this will be my first and last time here. Idk. Maybe the cakes are better or the cookies weren't fresh. I've had a lot of cookies in my days and this is the worst. People have different taste. Don't knock it till you try it.

I came in for a consult to order a cake, by the time my consult time was over, we didn't compromise on a price and was told I would hear back from them on Monday which was the following week for a final price and to discuss the cake . I never heard back from them, so I came in a month later and explained how I felt. They refused to give me my deposit back. The manager was very rude and had a very bad attitude with me and I would never suggest going to this place.

Working with the decorator from beginning to end was flawless. They took the design in my head and brought it to life! My granddaughter's cake was beautiful and so yummy, most of all, She was thrilled!

I was a 35 year faithful customer but I will never set foot in this store again over their unfair business practices. I hope it was worth it to them. I will no longer be recommending their business to anyone. I am sure they can afford to absorb the losses. Their communication skills were lacking. It was just over a few dollars but it was the way I was treated. It was very humiliating and facilitated by the owner/manager.Never again. When I tasted the cake IT WAS DRY! They definitely have gone downhill on all fronts.Go to Sam's or Dillons. They have much better service, cakes are just as good and not as expensive.Avoid at all costs.

I just now called this bakery to order 2 dozen chocolate cupcakes with buttercream chocolate icing. I need these for tomorrow. After checking with her manager she told me they can make these for tomorrow but there would be a $10.00 rush fee. I said no I was not going to pay a $10.00 rush fee for cupcakes and told her I have been doing business with them for years and it use to be I could call and order these cupcakes with a 24 hour notice.Less than one minute later I get a call from the manager. She was calling to argue her point of the of the $10.00 rush fee and was telling me I just didn't understand small business. I was in shock and hung up on her rant.I have been doing business with this small business for over 30 years when the original owner was Dee. An Amazing small business owner, Dee sold her business to start another small business and continues to serve this community.Artistic cakes has changed hands over the years and this new owner has ruined the reputation of the Artistic Cake name. I will Never do business with this company again due to the current manager. Cheryl Waipa

Wow! The cakes are spectacular in taste, pricing, and oh my gosh the design work! They truly are ARTISTS at Artistic Cakes!

price was reasonable for what I got. however service was poor. lady behind the counter was not very nice and very snippy and rude with my husband. won't be placing another order at this bakery.

THE BEST cake ever!! I ordered my daughter's 21st birthday cake and was blown away!! Words can't describe how delicious this cake was...actually going to go and try the cupcakes this weekend!!

After trying two other bakeries, I contacted these folks and ordered a carrot cake (without raisins) for my grandson's birthday. Apparently, deleting raisins from this cake-type is challenging for bakeries. Anyway, picked up the cake, and when the candles were blown out we cut into it. Immediately, the slice of cake crumbled into multiple pieces. We tried another slice, and same results. It would seem that the icing was the only thing holding the cake together. Perhaps this bakery is capable of other baked goods, but I'd pass on the carrot cake.
