Stop at this picturesque place next to a red barn. Order the Lemon pie with the friendly ladies. Enjoy it next to the horses. Take a picture next to the corn fields. Get back on the road. Regret not getting another one for the road.

Please listen up, because I am going to give you some **very** important life advice:~If you are driving on the interstate and EVER see a sign boasting "fried pies"-- it's a SIGN- go! Take the exit and find the fried pies, and you will be forever changed!!!A year or so ago I was driving somewhere through Georgia when I saw a sign for fried pies. I had never heard of a fried pie before, and my curiosity was peaked. I stopped, tried one, and was immediately won over. Wow, are those suckers good. Ever since, l have been searching for fried pie signs and longing to have another. It appeared destiny was with me as I drove to Texas recently, because I was given a sign. Literally, the fried pie sign! I yelled with delight and listened to my own most important advice, and found Arbuckle Mountain. This places takes the cake, or the pies I guess. This was, just plainly an awesome place. I was literally filled with glee walking up- so old school and clearly they were the pros of fried pie making. When we talked to the sweet, sweet ladies working inside, they told us their fried pie recipe is 40 years old! Yeah, I'd definitely say they're the professionals, the elitists of the fried pie game!!We ended up getting 7 pies- it was a buy 6, get one free special which we were also bringing to share with family (as much as I would have loved to save them all for myself). And hilariously enough, my family in Dallas said they stop at Arbuckle anytime they come near OK! They agreed it's the best and all I can say is the honest truth: you need to follow the fried pie sign and see what I mean (especially if it's for Arbuckle Mountain)!

Sweet ladies working the storefront and the pies were amazing. The crust is soft and sweet and the amount of filling is just right. I won't pass this place again without stopping.

What a pleasant surprise! It was a nice stop, a little break from OKC to Wichita. A must stop to try their fried pies - fresh, crispy crust and creamy filling, yummy! Also, not so sweet , just right! Service is amazing too! And have cute little shop and place to eat and relax.

We were on our way back to Oklahoma from Kansas City and needed a place to eat for lunch. We were looking for something cheap and fast when this popped up on our radar. OMG. 10/10 place. Service was kind. Bathrooms were clean. But the pies...the pies were worth it all. We had the Tex-Mex, Polish, and Strawberry Rhubarb pies. The Tex-Mex was spicy and the Polish had a nice sausage in it. Loved the fillings but the dough is the real masterpiece. It's that perfect flaky goodness you never knew you needed. Highly recommend stopping for some pies.

Hmmm... stopped for fried pies. Three pies (blackberry, pecan, and chocolate) plus a coffee and Cajun cheese curds came to over $32.The only price I saw was ~$4 for frozen pies. I don't know how the pricing broke down because there was no itemized receipt. Again - no prices listed for the pies, cheese curds, meats, coffee, etc. - not listed in the deli case, the pie case, not on the advertising board... not anywhere that I saw, and I looked. The pies were "meh". They were room temperature and had been sitting in the case. We prefer the pies at the shop in Arbuckle - where our pies were freshly made and served right out of the fryer. HUGE difference!!!The shop had chocolates and soaps and other goods, but once bitten, twice shy. Not shopping where I don't know the prices. (To be fair, there was a bicycle listed for $900ish in the entry... said the original price was $1200 or $1250.)

These pies were so delicious!!! We tried one savory pie the chicken and broccoli it was so so good! We tried lemon and the sugar free peach they were just as good. The warm ones are amazing but the rest that are ready to eat are just as good the crust was so delicious and I'm not typically a pie crust enjoyer.
