Doctors are not allowed to dictate where you buy your prescriptions, veterinarians should not be able to either. This vet began great (I even left a 5 star review after my first visit) and as time continued it gradually became more and more of a headache. My dog takes Nexguard and Heartguard. These were prescribed by Dr Parsons. Instead of giving us the prescription from the beginning, as they ethically are required to do, they made us continually jump through hoops to finally be able to order via Chewy.com, which is 3 times less than the price of the vet. I have no problem supporting local business, but when i feel taken advantage of and pushed against a wall, this is when issues are created. Because of Dr Parsons actions, my dog could miss his essential medication. Every time the first issue regarding the prescription we have had to go in for an appointment, we have been treated poorly. Actions he took to try and steer us away from chewy include; writing the wrong prescription, not giving us BOTH prescriptions so we would have to return, refusing to answer calls and faxes regarding my pets essential medicine, "stepping out" every time we would come so we would have to leave and get the prescription a different date, even though we always called ahead to ensure he was present, giving us a 10 minute speech about how we should order from them and when finally handing us the prescription after several days of headache, asking us "whats the deal, why are you ordering from them" in an attempt to shame us, keeping us on hold forever, lying and saying they would "check for the fax" or "call chewy", when in reality, they did nothing of the sort and STILL said we had to come in and get a prescription to mail after MULTIPLE calls to them when they easily could respond to the fax or by calling, WHICH THEY TOLD US THEY WOULD DO. Had i not pressed them and eventually changed vets, i would be forced to order through them or have my dog go without medication. When i finally told them i would be taking my business elsewhere, i was promptly hung up on, without them asking where to send our documents. If this review was too long to read, basically, he made us jump through multiple hoops and continuously pushed his own product that is 3x the price on us after we repeatedly said no and asked for our dogs prescription. They ignored faxes regarding our pets medication and made us mail in the prescription in hopes we would cave and order through them (orders on chewy get cancelled after 2 weeks of no response from the vet). Also, if you do decide to change vets, they offer little to no help in the process and hang up on you before you can finish your sentence. This business is extremely shady and they care about making money, not your pets health. I have never been more disappointed in a business than i am with Animal Care Center. Doctors are not allowed to dictate where you buy your prescriptions, veterinarians should not be able to either.

I can't say enough good things about Animal Care Clinic. I've never really liked taking my pets to a vet, but these people are great. They seem to actually care about us and our pets. In fact, one of my dogs was killed in a car accident a couple years ago. I hadn't seen the doctor in more than a year, but when I took in my new puppy months later, he remembered my dog Tucker, and offered his condolences. That was it for me. I'll be a lifelong customer! We also board our dogs in their kennel, and they take great care of them. My dogs get so excited when we pull into the parking lot. They've always been warm and friendly, they've given us options for medications and treatments, and they've been extremely flexible with us when we've had emergencies come up, or we forgot to make a reservation in advance. This is the first vet office I've ever felt good about, and I'd encourage anybody to try them out!

The Dr and staff have such a way with animals. My previous vet had to sedate my cat to groom her. Staff just clips her with No sedation. Love those people.

I have never been to a better vet clinic, EVER. Dr. Parsons and the ladies there were the best and most compassionate people. My dog was dying and they did everything possible to help her stay with me, treated me like family and in that horrible time she was there that all helped me somehow. I will continue to take any pet I have there, I 100% would recommend Dr. Parsons, his staff and Animal Care Clinic. Tangi Prewitt

Excellent clinic and staff. We have been very impressed with Dr Parsons and the office staff during the interactions we have had with them with our three dogs and our daughter's two dogs. Very personable and Dr Parsons takes the time to explain conditions and rationale for treatment. The prices are also very reasonable . We feel very fortunate that an acquaintance told us about Dr Parsons.

I visited Dr Justin after adopting my dog from the shelter and provided him with a history of medications my dog had received at the shelter and the dates treated. A few days later I started noticing a change in my dog's behavior i.e. Frequent diarrhea, constant panting and itchiness. I tragically learned too late that the doctor hadn't looked at the medical history and had given my dog both Heartgard and Nexgard even though my dog had just been given the same/similar medications six days earlier at the shelter. I met with Dr. Justin to share my concern and was told it was no big deal and that dogs can eat a years supply of that 'stuff' and not be harmed. Not exactly the guidance I was looking for. Needless to say, I've since moved on to another Vet who is actively detoxing my dog and treating the liver and kidney damage caused by all that medication. I would not recommend the Animal Care Center.
