Ana's burger shack

I was feeling like a mushroom Swiss burger and what better place than a no frills burger shack. This is more of a to-go style establishment, but they have a couple tables inside for dine in. The staff are extremely friendly and while busy, are attentive to phone, window, and dine in orders. The burger was fantastic. It was two smashed patties layered with Swiss cheese and fried mushrooms. I ordered grilled onions to go with it and it hit the spot. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked as well. The Philly was so good. One of the best in years because of the amount of peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I am a cheese snob so I would have loved even more cheese, but this is the right amount of cheese for a normal Philly. It's a fun little place with local cheese and local beef, something most cannot attest to. We would come back when in town!

Super delicious burger, with lots of different topping options. Inside is a little small so I would recommend getting to go or eating outside. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Manhattan looking for local beef

We weren't sure when we pulled up if there was inside seating but there is! Weboth ordered burgers and fries and corn bites and not only was the food delicious but the staff was delightful! The buns were grilled to perfection and we were able to customize our toppings for the burgers from the cheeses to the condiments and the fries were super crispy outside and soft on the inside and the corn bites were the best i've ever had. Highly recommend

Yum!! My first time I had the regular burger (bugs) and loved it. So the next time I got adventurous and tried the classic, which is a Swiss mushroom. Not nearly as tasty as the regular big D.

What a treat passing through looking at colleges for our son! Everyone that worked here were incredibly kind and efficient. I've never had such a fresh burger in my life. Everything was delicious. Our family of 5 each loved our meals. The fries and onion rings were yummy. Shakes were a hit with the kids. Price was reasonable. Only complaint was the inside dining area was very tight but you just have to prepare that you might not have a seat. 5/5 for service and food though!

Don't even get me started on THIS burger. A colleague and I were just passing through town on our way back to Nebraska. Upon seeing this joint, we swerved off the side of the road and ditched our chipotle plans to check it out. That, right there, was the greatest decision ever made in the history of my stomach. Walking up to the joint, you just knew you were in for a home-cooked, juicy slab of meat with fresh sliced toppings and a pound of fries that'd put you to sleep. What I didn't expect was that I was about to experience taste-bud salvation. They accommodated my Gluten Free bun request and added an egg-er on top as somewhat of an alley-oop, and when the actual burger hit my mouth, Ana hit a 360 windmill slam DUNKERTON. I swear, this was the best burger I've ever experienced in my life. I say 'experienced' intentionally, because I feel as though I've had a genuinely life-enhancing encounter after munching that double burger delight. Come, you who are debating. Come, skeptic. Come, chipotle enthusiast. Come and taste Ana's burgers, and never be the same.

Absolutely insane. Recommended to me by a friend, my wife and I went on a quiet Saturday at around 3:30. It seemed to be a family ran restaurant. To start off, the whole area of the restaurant just had a a very old school look which one can appreciate and the menu had quite a few options! More than I would've thought. The food was excellent. Absolutely 10/10 burger. The patties were very hot! Which I feel is rare in a burger these days. Immediately following, I was greeted by thoughts of a time period I've never been to. It represented the epitome of what a burger should be. A classic fresh American burger by definition. Will definitely going back and totally easy on the wallet too. I can't put into words how excited I was to eat this and just absolutely how worth it that it was. Thank you guys!

I got the Chroizo Riley got the Big D the name of the burger she said it was good but I thought it was the most scrumptious burger I've had in this deserted city. 9.2/10.

Best burger in Manhattan Ks. Hands down! Must try- love mushroom Swiss burger, phyllo, 4 alarm burger and omg ... the fries!!! Ana and her staff are so kind and cheerful and the service is amazing.

On "Gameday" a great burger and fries experience ~ first time and now first choice. a. Great local beef/produce burger ~ presentation too in the double paper wrap. b. Lots of condiment options & sides. c. Friendly customer service d. - and that personal hospitality touch of Ana bringing our order to our car.....Thank you Ana et. al. .... The only question I left with after the experience was "are they open tomorrow?"....
