If you are familiar to the Twin Lakes area of West Wichita, then you know that this particular building has been several things over the years. The dishes have a fresh taste, the baked pasta dishes are screaming hot, and they fill your bread basket if you wish. With a couple of glasses of wine, house salads, and two baked dishes, two of us dined for about $60 plus a tip, and the value is absolutely there. It's not a five-star spot - yet - but Amore can absolutely get there. Solid option for Twin Lakes/Benjamin Hills residents.

The dining atmosphere is very nice. The wait staff very friendly and never did we have to wait for them. The tables all have white table clothes. The food is amazing. The best Italian food in a long time finally in Wichita! Homemade sauces and bread fantastic place! We go there every week! I judge an Italian restaurant by its spaghetti sauce and let me tell you everyone else fails badly! Amore is so wonderful you have to try it! Only one drawback no draft service. Every beer in bottles but to make up for it they give you a very frosty mug!

I love this place. I haven't tried anything that wasn't good. Bread is AMAZING!! So much cheese. Prices are good too.

A hidden gem for sure! We had to celebrate our girls birthday. Renee is 35 (again) and fabulous. We really loved Amore Italian Restaurant and will definitely go there again! The food was fantastic, and the service was awesome. The fresh rolls were a great addition to the meal. The calamari with red sauce was so good and had a little bit of a "kick" to it. We enjoyed calamari and raviolis for appetizers, spaghetti and meatballs, the tour of Italy, and of course, tiramisu for the birthday dessert! A birthday going sour, this started as a good review but as time goes on its going downhill. Pictures of the menu, and the Chicken Alfredo. Bread is complementary, ambience is light Italian music, giant Italian landscape artwork, and white tablecloths. Very open layout. Food was 4/5, service was 3/5 check took awhile to get, even with the to-go boxes being loaded we are just sitting here waiting on the check, i feel thats not supposed to happen. Overall though not bad. 3.3/5 rounded to 3 stars. Ended up taking over 10 minutes to just get the check. Rough day for the server i get it and wont compund things but she thought she brought us the check when she didn't and we have clearly been ready to leave for over 15 minutes.

I had high expectations with the reviews I had read. It was really bad food. The bread was good. But after that it went downhill. Pastas were drenched in sauce and looked like soup. Everything is frozen, not homemade (waitress' words not ours). The lasagna had a sour taste as if it was old. The chicken Parmesan was soggy and too soft as if it was microwaved. The building itself inside is pretty darn rough and dated, stalls in the bathroom were pulling out of the walls etc.

DoorDash experience - Order pasta on the side if you get Vodka Sauce and Penne, your pasta will soak up all the sauce. Everything else tastes and looks very good. I called the restaurant to clarify and see if that amount of sauce was normal, McKayla should be in PR. Very sweet, understanding and offered solutions. She single handedly de-escalated a bad review. I'll definitely consider ordering again thanks to her help.

Wow! EXCELLENT menu selections and VERY reasonable prices. Our table of six all ordered different menu items and none were disappointed. All of us had been to Italy over the years - and as good as food as we have had there. We had a very reasonable bottle of the house wine - and there are other wines on the list for the discerning connoisseur as well.Please go and enjoy this gem located on West 21st street. (Although in a modest strip mall just East of Amidon, the inside ambiance is excellent! Frequent this place so it is a success!PS Shout out to Rebecca - our waitress! ! !

I ordered the Shrimp Lobster Ravioli and Ceasar Salad. The Ravioli was one note orange cream sauce. It also had a few bits of shells in only the 2 or 3 bites that I ate. I couldn't taste any Lobster, and if there was Lobster in the Ravioli, it was shredded, or mashed. Yuk!!! I've been looking for a Lobster Ravioli like the long gone Macaroni Grill had on their menu, which was soooooo good, it was exceptional. I dont know why they closed. Anyway, so tge Ceasar Salad was also terrible. It was only lettuce and terrible fake Parmesan Cheese, with a really bad Ceasar Dressing. I make Ceasar Salad and it is 10 times better. I ordered take out, and I threw the Ravioli in the trash. I dd keep the Lettuce for a salad in a day or two. I will add black olives, tomato, and red onions, and either my own Ceasar Dressing, or other homemade Blue Cheese or Ranch Dressing. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but not these two items. They need to remove them from their menu.

There were several tables but no one was working the front. Finally someone came and sat us. Our server was friendly and very pregnant but we were having a date night and didn't want to hear about how tired she was or that her feet hurt. The fried calamari was squishy, the breading was soggy, and overly lemoned. The fettuccine was good but the lasagna had very little meat. All we could taste was pasta. The tomato sauce was good but not outstanding. The garlic bread knots were very good. The waitress brought us complementary slices of cheesecake which was very nice and appreciated, but would we go back? No. Glad we tried it but it just didn't have a special atmosphere, the food was average, it was moderately expensive, and the service was disappointing.
