Awful driver. Didn't like the fare and he dumped my daughter off a 1/4 mile distance from her location. Wouldn't have been a big deal but she was just released from the hospital. She has been in the hospital for 3 weeks. Delivered her baby at 30 weeks with an emergency c-section. She has continued issues with her BP even after delivery. The Dr.s kept her longer because of this. She had a large box with her belongings. She must have her medications and needs to be careful not to raise her BP. So this guy dumps her off and makes some comment about the fare not paying enough. Awful Awful person. I hope you don't run into someone who treats you like you treated my daughter.

cab driver to pick me up didn't speak English very well Then chewed me out because I I didn't answer his call he didn't try and call me the number we had for me was incorrect no apology then on the ride home which I ended up canceling Cuz there wasn't going to be able to a to pick me up for an hour had to find another ride have had problems with this Cab company before drivers not knowing where they're going getting lost not wanting to listen to my direction I'm done

Booked a taxi yesterday with ABC American Cabs for 2:00 Called them at 2:10 they told me the driver's car was broke another was on the way would be here soon. Called again at 2:30 told it was minutes away. Got a call from driver at 2:35. Said he was on the way. Asked him how far. He said 15 minutes. Told him to forget it. I was going to drive but a neighbor offered me a ride so at the gate now Not going to use Wichita's ABC /American cab service again

I have a very close friend who just turned 60 a couple of weeks ago. He left his keys in my car the other night around 10 pm. His phone had died so when I left him he had no way to call me. Not knowing anyone's phone number due to they were all in his phone, he decided his only way home was to walk the 7 mile trip. He made it home around 4 am. Keep in mind this man is also handicapped. Along the way he had various attempts for a ride, all which failed. He stopped at Quik Trip at Maple and West where they let him use their phone. He called American Cab which told him they could not help him because he had no phone number to be reached at. Finally QT let him use their phone number. He then told them he only had $6.00 to his name. They told him his trip was $11.00. Hurting, he asked to come get him and take him as far as $6.00 would get him. They said no and that he had to have a destination and told him to get closer to his final destination. He then walked to the QT at 21st and Maize and called them back. Being just a mile and a half from home now, they said $6.00 would now cover it. Then they said that it would be at least an hour and a half wait...at almost 3:00 AM. So instead he walked the rest of the way home. Not blaming this company for anything for they did what their protocol is. But another company with an opportunity to step up and do the right thing and did not.

No rating for the taxi service today on Yelp, poorest service today, the meter read 2 dollars on pick up and read 850 upon arrival going the long route to Walmart, upon pickup he seems to be in a bad mood, 1st he swerves around a car waiting to turn left without regards as to oncoming traffic thru the intersection that could also be wanting to turn left into our path, and he jumps around in the seat like he's got herpes and texting while driving and then has the balls to ask for a tip. The same driver came to pick us up and instead of picking us up, he turns and heads towards Dollar General other end of parking lot and then comes by 45 mins later to pick us up at Walmart, guess he had to stop and eat at Subway, and picking us up the meter read 3 dollars on pickup and meter read 875 on arrival back home which should have been less by going the short route but charged us 975 which was a dollar more than the meter read, which by a previously driver was under 8 dollars the short route a month ealier, cause I asked this driver to go by Washington street instead of Broadway street cause the railroad tracks are smoother that way and is a shorter route he responds in a gruff manner, and this driver had passed the house which rang up the meter even more, when I politely asked why he charged so much more than the meter reading he sarcastically said he charges for loading and unloading fees which was a dollar to load plus a dollar to unload plus extra meter reading for going past the house which he knew where it was since he picked us up to go to Walmart, he should have politely answered about he charges for loading and unloading instead of being obnoxious and rude since we paid him a 5 dollar tip, and then he gets out and continues bickering at me while unloading the food, I figured the extra meter reading was for the groceries which a previously driver a month ago did not charge for loading and unloading and this driver today had said the company makes them charge for loading and unloading and we had less than the previously run to Walmart. He was in a bad mood to start with plus also a poor driver, no seat belt, no mask, kept jumping around in his seat while driving, and on phone texting while driving. So from now on, they lost our business of using them. Posting a bad review on Facebook as well as on Twitter and Yelp search and filing a complaint with the BBB in Wichita.

Called this company two hours before I needed a taxi to pick me up at my home less than 7 miles from the airport and drop me off at the airport on Tuesday Feb 24th. I was informed that in the future I need to call the day before in order to get there on time.... WTF? She said they were too busy to pick me up and get me there (15 minute drive from my house). Totally not recommending this cab company in Wichita...

Watched a cab driver run a stop sign and wreck a motorcycle. The cab kept going leaving the rider and his passenger lying in the street. Unprofessional and reckless at best

Same as ABC Taxi - same dispatch and same owner... Hard to get them to commit to a pickup time except during morning and mid day. Late night pickup at bars, hotels or home is nearly impossible. They delay and take forever to arrive. If you call to question them on arrival time (after their quoted arrival time has passed) the dispatcher gets mad and sometimes yells. I have many friends who have similar stories. Most cabs are in average condition but they tend to smell of sweaty BO - probably from the drivers - and carpet shampoo cleaners... terrible service - but they don't have much competition in town so they can get away with it I guess.

I work at a local hotel where I call guests taxis on a regular basis. Everytime i call ABC taxi/American cab seems like the same rude gentlemen answers. He never says hello or good bye and is always sounding gruff before just hanging up the phone, they will never commit to a pick up time which is often at least 45min - an hour, and guests often come back unsatisfied with rude drivers or filthy cabs. When calling a cab for my guests i will go for another less rude cab company! They dont seem to care about their business at all!
