American Auto Sales

So my mom (74yrs young) is wanting to get a car. We researched cars she found the one she wanted. @ American Auto Sales. She's ready to make a deal. I tried calling. Went straight to voicemail. Several times straight to voicemail. No callback. (I know, first red flag). Mom really wants that particular car. So we go there. We're standing at the car. Checking it out. No one in parking lot. Empty except for cars. We go inside. The rep asks if we're here to pick up a car from repair. So I tell him mom wants that car. Let's do a test drive. He wants to see if she can even qualify first. Insulting. But mom agrees. She really wants that car. After a few minutes he tells her she only qualifies for a Hyundai, same price older with scratches galore dings the works. Not any where what mom wanted. He tells me that his financial bank won't do loans on Chevy 300c because they're unreliable. And that the Hyundai is more reliable. And then to add insult to injury he says he needs double the down payment. I swear. So NO. I DO NOT. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AMERICAN AUTO SALES TO MY WORSE ENEMY

DO NOT DO SERVICE WITH THESE SHADY PEOPLE AT AMERICAN AUTO SALES. I bought a 2012 Hyundai Azera from this dealership. Test drove it and everything was fine so we went through and bought the car, before all of the papers were signed the car had 41 Miles until empty and Joshua did not want to fill it up with gas before selling it, saying that it was not his responsibility. First red flag. When we were signing papers we noticed an amazon order shoved in the middle for stop-leak, and when we confronted Joshua about it he had nothing to say except for he is a small business owner just trying to make it through. He was very rude and acted like he didn't want to sell the car very badly. I bought this car on 12/15 even though there were a couple of red flags. Not even a month later the check engine light came on and it threw 6 codes, and 4 of them were about the power steering. Come to find out there are multiple things wrong with this car and they sold it to me anyways knowingly. Rear break pads need replaced, both cv shaft boots are leaking grease, the engine oil pan is leaking and someone TRIED to slow it down by putting silicone on it, the rear main oil seal has a possible leak as well. I should have known not to buy a vehicle from these people. Joshua was very unprofessional and on top of ALL of that they hadn't even received the title before selling me the car. If I were you I would STEER CLEAR of this dealership and find somewhere that will sell you a reliable car.

Just bought a 2012 Ford Escape from Kevin & Josh at American Auto Sales. This will be my daughters first car and I have been scouring Wichita for the last 6 months for a reliable car. To be honest, I almost walked away from this deal because the car looked and drove to good for the price. I called a friend with a little more automotive repairs experience to come give a second opinion. Everything checked out!!! I almost want to trade my daughter my 2016 maxima lol. (I will post a fallow up in 6 months or if I experience any problems with the vehicle.)Kevin- thank you so much for the hassle free business.Josh- thank you for scrutinizing your cars when you buy them at action. My daughter bought her First car in April 2020 at this establishment within one month we had to put a new radiator in it and within six months we now have to put a transmission in it they sell lemons in for six grand or than six months

Don't buy your car from these people they sold me a 2014 Chevy. cruz and it had bad breaks bad rotors and bad tie rod end back pulley end it had an oil leak and also a transmission leak so these people are really rude and don't need to be selling cars if they can't fix them
