Air Capital RV Park

June 9th, 2023~ Traveling through Wichita,KS. First time in Kansas. People are very nice when we checked in. This RV Park is big rig friendly. It has wide lanes and we had no trouble maneuvering our 43 ft Class A coach. All cement pads with a nice "yard" to enjoy the afternoon cocktail. Ideal location for exploring the City. Yes, we would recommend staying here !!

Enjoyed our short stay while visiting family in Wichita. Edie was very kind and welcoming during our check in. Park was extremely clean and well kept and sites were level. Laundry room and showers were also very clean and well maintained. Easy access to the freeway.

We stayed here in October of 2022. We traveled from Texas to Wichita and stayed with my friend's nephew. The RV Park is really nice. As a woman I was a little nervous of what to expect but the place is very clean. The women's restroom was impressive. They have a large amount of bathrooms plus shower stalls. I was impressed. There are plenty of lights outside in the parking lot where all the RVs park and it feels very safe. They also have a laundry mat but we didn't use it. The next time I have the opportunity to come this way again, I will stop by here for sure.

Honestly this park would have been a five star the only bummer was the hook ups for the person next door went trough the middle of the yard so the kids/dogs didn't have much grass space. We loved the beautiful paved lots tho my kids really enjoyed chalk 4 square riding bikes skateboards and scooters! It is well lit up and feels very safe even in the heart of Wichita! It's close to just about everything it's clean and very well maintained. I have picky kids and they even enjoyed using the shower rooms! Staff (and others) was(were) friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed our stay! Flat pull through cement lots, easy in easy out. If you have kids check out the exploration place! Oh last thing if you hear a huge bang in the middle of the night (1:45 am!!!) it's just the dumpster being emptied it about stopped my heart!We stayed 2 weeks family of 5- 3 young kids 2 big dogs and a kitty :)

This place is not pet friendly. We have stayed here in the past with no issues regarding my dogs playpen, however even after they watched us set everything up, 3 hrs later they have issues with the play pen outside our door. Their comments were it will kill the grass. We are only staying 1 night, and I know for fact the playpen will no more kill the grass than the hot sewer hoses laying, or electric cables, laying on the ground.

TO THE OWNER: Touted on your website as "the friendliest RV park in Wichita" is downright frightening given the experience we just had today. Firstly, let me suggest that you provide one of your managers with basic customer service training. The male counterpart of your management team seems fine. The female on the other hand was dreadful in every respect. We called to cancel a reservation in late morning that was booked for today due to potential very severe weather. The cancellation policy on your website basically stated cancellations could be made at any time prior to arrival. When I called to cancel, the lady immediately and with angry relish said we would have to pay since the policy is 24 hour notice. She didn't ask who I was. I was so put off guard I just said okay and got off the phone before realizing that I hadn't given our name and confirmed we weren't coming. So I called back and told the gentleman that we were cancelling and that the site could be used for another traveler (even though we were losing the total $58 cost). Wondering if I had read the website incorrectly, I checked. It said nothing about a 24 hour notice. So I called back to let them know. The nice gentleman said they would call me back. The lady later called, was VERY strident and angry and said they would refund the amount and that the website was NOW changed to reflect the policy. And she further said in a damning manor, "You have cancelled twice before!" We had not cancelled, we had stayed there twice before. This person needs an incredible amount of training, unless you want to change your motto to, "the most unfriendly RV park in Wichita."

I'll be short. This place is a cash cow. Highly overpriced. Owners not present so there's no wiggle room in the special needs for a camper. WiFi? Non existent. Connects then doesn't work. Same every night we were here. It is very clean I'll say though. Paved and good sites. Garbage pickup is nice but for some reason people rarely used it. No dog run, just a long patch of grass. Kids area is falling apart. I gave it a 2 for lack of amenities. But frankly, no more staying there for us. I recommend it as a ONE-NIGHTER if you have to.

Great place. Very nice. Well kept. Easy to get in and out of. Would give 5 stars if wifi worked and it had some trees. These are very minor issues to me and would not keep me from staying here again or recommending it.

First let me preface by saying it is a very clean park, and everyone is friendly, as long as you're over 40. We stayed in the park for 3 nights and 2 of the days I witnessed the lady running the front desk, picking on a resident and saying all around terrible things about her. I'm still in shock at how she is trying to take away this young lady's home because she lives alone in an older motorhome. And not once but twice while I was in the office to hear, my wife witnessed the woman struggling to figure out how to get on the roof of her RV and we watched a park filled with men not only ignore her but laugh at her. "Not that way dummy" said a man in 11. We were able to have a wonderful cup of coffee and a shared prayer with the lord with this young woman. She is lovely, showed us receipts where she paid daily for almost 2 months before she was offered a monthly rate and never once but she late according to the paperwork. I've urged her to file a complaint with the non existent owners, the BBB for discrimination, and that horribly mean lady in the office. We will not be staying here again, we did However make a life long friend in this young woman who insists on remaining anonymous out of fear. 1 out of 5 stars and that's only because it's clean.
