Customer service is lacking! I entered the store today to makes sizable purchase. However, the owner was too busy chatting with a person over a personal conversation for 20 minutes. I walked out - and then called to speak to her & explain my concern. At no time did she apologize or accept any kind of ownership of the poor customer service situation. I will not support this local business.

Best shopping and a must stop while in OldTown-local shop-owner and daughter are so personable and helpful. The largest selection of Brighton in the Midwest! Who knew?! Lots of Vera Wang items as well-2nd floor is homemade breads coffees and sandwiches. Don't miss this place-you can also do layaway here.

I've been to Aida's several times, but not since the city started doing that massive construction project downtown. Aida's is located right at the NW corner of Washington and 1st Street (I've always loved the sign outside the store, with the letters going vertically down, and the little cat on top). There is so much construction on the streets there right now that I worry about how business is going in that area.Aida's is a combination of jewelry/gift store and cafe. The cafe is upstairs, and they have a pretty decent variety of drinks and some pastries and other cafe-type things to sample. Downstairs is the impressive store, which features Brighton jewelry, and a number of other designer names in purses, shoes, jewelry, and gift items. It's a fun store to browse through, and you can always find a unique gift or just a present for yourself from the collections there. Local gems like these are what make Wichita so fun. Definitely check this place out if you get a chance.

If your into Peggy Karr Infused Glass or Brighton line of products, you will be pleased with the selection. My wife is a regular at this store and is never disappointed. The owner (Aida) is always on hand to answer any questions and to serve the customers. This is NOT a discount gift shop. Although, there are "sales" but not often. Most recently, they had one to clear out the Christmas line of Peggy Karr Plates @ 50% off msrp. An inviting store with an ever changing inventory of interesting things for the home.

Good lord this place has the best chocolate cake I have ever had in a restaurant(it is super moist and I believe it was 4 layers)!!! Just thought everyone should know. The carrot cake is supposedly even better. I guess I'm gonna have to go back..he he ;) You will thank me about this review, trust me!!

We were driving by this store today and I "had" to have a look. It's fairly large and has a nice selection, but don't expect any bargains. Lots of beautiful wallets and purses, some pretty glass serving dishes/etc., silver jewelry....the owner (Aida) was there and she seemed pleasant.

I love this store! Aida is absolutely awesome and she is great with the customers. She makes sure to assure that her customers feel welcome and she has the answers to everything. I've been to a lot of stores that sell Vera Bradley, and hers has the best selection/most amount of patterns. The store is organized very nicely too. The food in the cafe is absolutely delicious. I love the empanadas and the cakes she makes. It's also a nice place to chill out after a long day of shopping!

The silver is of poor quality: started wearing off after 4 days and turns my finger green. after 3 different email addresses I finally got in touch with them and was told they would tell the production team. No apology, no attempt to make it right.

Bought something for my wife here a couple years ago. She didnt like it and returned it, got store credit. Store owner refuses to accept it because it's from 2019. Owner confirmed history on her computer just refused to accept it. Stay away.
