Aida's Coffee House

Aida's has a lot going for it. It's quaint atmosphere and made from scratch everything is the perfect combo for a great lunch! I stopped by today and ordered the chipotle black bean burger. It included some avocado, lettuce, mayo and tomato. I opted for the side salad with homemade cucumber lime dressing. The price listed on the menu was 7.50 and I was charged over $10 for this meal. If I would have eaten it at another place, that seems like a fair price, however I wasn't expecting that. Additionally I got my order to go and thy added the salad dressing instead of having it on the side, so by the time I got home, my croutons were soggy. I plan to return and try more of the menu. I saw fresh quiches when I ordered and went to try more. I recommend but will ask more questions next time.

For the many years I like this place and always take my friends here when I want spend time out with them. There is always quiet and very friendly stuff. And, of cause, I like menu and quality of meal that they are fixing here.

It's not often you walk into a place for the first time and are treated like a long-term loyal customer, but that's exactly the experience I had at Aida's. I went to try the vegan chocolate cake all my friends were raving about (and became a rabid fan myself, it is sooo rich and moist - probably the best chocolate cake in town!), but found myself delighted by the shop downstairs and entranced by the coffee shop upstairs. Since that first visit I've been back many times, and have always been welcomed back with such warmth and hospitality. I've sampled many of Aida's baked goods (the vegan ones anyway) and have yet to be disappointed. And the savory food has a homestyle honesty to it that leaves me satisfied more than just physically.

COFFEESHOP TEMPORARILY CLOSEDI tried to go in today and the coffee shop is closed, the ladies at the front say it will be closed until the summer but they can't update their hours online because it would change the info for the store downstairs. The store on the bottom floor seemed nice.

Aida's is truly one of a kind. The food is amazing, and beautiful atmosphere. Inside is cozy and spacious and outside is gorgeous for eating or drinking coffee in any time of year. One of if not my favorite place to eat and enjoy my time with someone or myself :)

This is my second time here. Each time it has been exceptionally quiet, and undeservingly so. The coffee is excellent and the food and pastries are made from scratch and offered at reasonable prices. Bring your laptop, have breakfast and coffee, and hang out for a while.
