Agents of Comics

Not a vibe I can get behind. Maybe local but treat people like they are a nationwide chain that doesn't need the business from people in Wichita

I used to go in and have my magazines pulled for me. It wasn't a bad place and had a great deal of potential but the owner never could follow through with it. He was very self centered and acted like he was above all of the others in the comic book community. Many times that I was there he would berate a regular customer but act like it was in a joking manor. I like my comics and have been collecting for 35+ years and I don't feel I need to be talked to like that by the Soup Nazi, eerrrr Comic Nazi. The environment had potential but the owner needed Prozac.

I believe this store is actually located downtown, or it did when lived in Wichita. The comic selection isn't fantastic, and it doesn't look like anyone keeps up with the new comics or cares. The employees are hit and miss, but they absolutely aren't the worst comic store employees out there. There seems to be a larger focus on the gaming side. They have a great selection of Warhammer/40K and the gaming room is amazing. It's possibly the best I've seen in 20+ years of comics and gaming. If they would take some time every week on there comics (instead of sitting behind the counter all day) this would improve the store by leaps and bounds. Hopefully the gaming is enough to carry this store, because they do a great job of that!

Good selection & well organized. Some RPG stuff and collectibles too. Really clean for a comic book store. The guys there make a point of keeping it up.

This place is now known as Wizards asylum. It is now located alittle West of 31st and south seneca.
