Decided to experience some of Kansas on our way to New Mexico and stopped in a few cute towns. The next morning, we decided to grab a Chai Tea Latte and a Matcha at this spot.Not only is the environment charming, but the Matcha was one of the best I've had. My partner gets chai at every coffee shop we go to and said this was one of his top favorites. Too bad we can't take them home to Minnesota with us!Easy street parking.

Good brewed coffee options with a free refill. Nice atmosphere and kind service. Would definitely go again as it is a nice place to read and have good conversation with company.

Ad Astra Is The Cutest Coffee Shop In Salina! I Was In Salina For A Conference And Fell In LOVE With The Charming Ad Astra Coffee. Upon Walking In, It Has A Fun And Bright Atmosphere And The Books Give It A Cozy Vibe! I Was Promptly Greeted And Let The Barista Know That It Was My First Time And Was Interested In My Favorite, The Toasted Marshmallow Syrup. They Were Out But She Suggested I Try A White Mocha Cuban Espresso. I Took Her Suggestion And It Was PERFECT! The Latte Was Hot And The Flavor Combo Was Unmatched! I Truly Enjoyed Ad Astra , So Much I Went Twice In My Three Day Stay! If I Find Myself In Salina Again I Know Where I Can Find Some Amazing Local Coffee! Thank You!

Stopped in last week to get a coffee and do some work. Lovely, well-lit, friendly place + solid internet. Also a decent selection of used books and local authors.

My favorite stop in Salina!! Not far off the Hwy 81/I135 corridor, I consider this a must stop. As in, I must stop if I am headed north/south on the highway outside of Salina? Why? 1) this is a pleasant, welcoming space. The bathrooms are clean, the people working are kind and efficient, the people who come here are happy to be in the space. 2) the books! Both new and used books, grouped sensibly and pre-curated so that every shelf is enticing. Be sure to check the local authors area and staff favorites for unique gems 3) the coffee! The special of the day today was s'mores latte, topped w a tiny straw skewer of three mini marshmallows - so cute and soooo yummy!! They have many flavors of syrups, many teas, and also just regular delicious coffee.

It is a really nice airy book store & coffee shop. I got the Large Iced Vanilla Latte. It tastes great, but it was a bit expensive.

Very cute little bookstore. Felt very kitschy and sweet. Almost like Friends Central Perk vibe. Live music was preparing to set up as well.

Just passing through in our trip but this was one of the best stop ins the whole three week journey.It was nice and hot outside so we opted for Frappuccino's One cold brew and one mocha and they were so delicious! The cold brew was perfect , real and NOT one of those too sweet concoctions sold other places.An iced water dispenser at the counter a sweet touch.Obviously the ambiance is great appeal with wall to wall books. The bathroom was clean and beautiful I had a moment with the wallpaper. The overall energy and quality is wonderful. I wish there was one by us in western Virginia!

The shop itself is beautiful. I love that they offer used books and have created an environment that makes you want to stay and read. I had a hot chai tea latte that was underwhelming and a blueberry scone that had an off taste to it, almost spoiled.
