ABC Taxi

I used their service one time. I was released from the hospital and the hospital gave me a voucher for a taxi ride home. ABC was called. I had to wait close to an hour for a ride. When I got in the car and got my walker in they took off and drove awfully fast all the way to my house. I expect people who are common carriers to be especially careful and respectful. This may just be the one driver and may not represent all of them. The car was small and uncomfortable as well.

WOW, the best rated cab service in Wichita still only is a three star joint.But it gets even better, that rating is WAAAAAY over what they deserve.Poor customer service, wait times long-they tell you "we TRY to get there in 15 to 30 minutes"....my reply of "that's not a pickup time" was met with cold silence by the beauty on the phone who sounded like she's been smoking cigars and drinking bourbon all night.UBER UBER UBER....all these Wichita KS cab services suck beyond belief. Just shockingly ridiculous for a nice town like this to have absolutely bottom level of service in their taxi services.Well, my 30 minutes have come and gone. Wichita is not that big folks. Since taking my ride request, I have packed, checked out of my hotel, written 3 yelp reviews, collaborated with colleagues, had a couple coffees...Folks Uber or rent a car, using ABC taxi is inefficient, ineffective. I will be surprised if they show up at all.SHAME ON YOU FOLKSUPDATE: I have to say, I was wrong, they are not 1 star. They are negative, I just can't reflect that in the review area. They never did show up.Come on Wichita, you can do better than this. When the hotels and drivers and citizens openly laugh about the cab service, isn't it time to take a real hard look at the competitive model in town?

I was in a jam and they picked me up at 5am for an airport run. Super helpful and fair price!

The people that answer for them are totally incompetent. They take forever, they ask you the same questions over and over. It's ridiculous and a wonder they even answer your calls at all.My roommate is currently waiting for her taxi. I'm wondering if they even dispatched one.

The dispatch operator working at 4:00 pm, Sunday, 07/19/2020 is a rude and disrespectful jerk with very poor communication skills. Hopefully she will be put in her place from the Great Reset: unemployed, homeless, and malnourished. The fare was nearly twice the estimate I was given by the driver before we agreed to do business. I'm not sure if he is grossly uninformed, stupid, or just a flat out liar.What I am pretty sure of is that it is simply coincidence that there was fraudulent activity within a week of using ABC Taxi on the credit card I used to pay the fare , a credit card which had never prior, nor ever after, been out of my possession, control, or sight; a credit card which I allowed to be processed for payment by the cabbie as he sat alone in his cab while I stood to the rear of the vehicle, behind the open trunk lid.I'm very nearly sure he didn't record the credit card information to later sell or use himself for the commission of credit card fraud. That would be so obvious! Simply coincidence, I'm sure.Other than that, the're great!They, unfortunately, are the only taxi service staging at ICT (Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport) airport, Wichita, but hopefully Lyft can drive them out of business.

Booked a taxi yesterday with ABC American Cabs for 2:00 Called them at 2:10 they told me the driver's car was broke another was on the way would be here soon. Called again at 2:30 told it was minutes away. Got a call from driver at 2:35. Said he was on the way. Asked him how far. He said 15 minutes. Told him to forget it. I was going to drive but a neighbor offered me a ride so at the gate now Not going to use Wichita's ABC /American cab service again

This cab company is all bad from the time they answer the phone to getting picked up. You ask them about how long it could be and they always give this bs "it can be anywhere from 5 to 45 mins." My advice to anyone download Lyft!

I used ABC taxi service a month ago to take me to the airport for a 6am flight. I booked the taxi the evening before for a 4 am pickup. The taxi arrived 30 minutes late. The drivers excuse was he programmed the GPS wrong and went the opposite direction. He did not assist me with my luggage when getting into or out of the cab. The only thing he did was drive slow. After arriving late, to increase the fare. On my return used ABC to take me home. The driver was courteous and the cab was clean. But the fare was higher and the same route was followed both times. Go figure. The quality of taxi service here in wichita is iffy at best. I've used the other two companies and have received less than admirable service with them also. 50% of the time ABC taxis are filthy The drivers rent the cabs I guess they need to clean them which some don't on a regular basis. Anyway I guess it is ABC or Uber May have to try Uber the next time I need a taxi service

Yeah, was just informed they are NOT open 24 hours when I called to schedule a ride to the airport. Woman had an attitude like I should have known this already. Maybe it's due to the holiday season?

I only used abc for local trips I got an infestation of bed bugs from an aBa cab I suggest you not use the company for your own health again abc can was the only one I used the vehicles smelled of marijuana the drivers were clearly high who consistently logged the wrong address
