One star is one star too many - this is the absolutely worst run establishment liquor store chain in Wichita, KS.....Especially a "shout out" to the weekend people - if you want rude, crude, and contempt for even stepping in their store, by all means shop there....After 5 years I've seen them have awesome people to now, well, I guess they want people who actually treat the customers like their a pain in the ass..there are still a couple of good people there, but the guy who works weekend mornings (don't know his name) is so rude and just plain mean, I dont know how he even has a job there...ABC doesn't care about customer service as they don't really vet their employees...just fill out a job application and you have a job...taking my business elsewhere...

their prices are about the same as everyone's. no real value. one of their employees at the east central location doesnt share the same political views as my wife and friends and has repeatedly harrassed them on social media. even after i called corporate to make them aware, nothing has changed. employees are the face of a company. if they act sh!tty then the company is put into the same light.

Wanted wine for dinner on Sunday August 16, 2015. Called ABC Liquor on E Central at 7:45pm, closing time is 8:00. Got there at 7:54. Three cars in the parking lot, people at the door, store doors locked and all of us were told by 2 guys inside, "we close when we want to close." Pay attention Groves Liquor at Kellogg and Greenwich, and you can put these guys out of business.

Megan was a lifesaver! I was in a hurry and needed bottles of Pinot Grigio and a red wine for under $14 each and she had some amazing suggestions. I would have been absolutely lost without her and she knocked it out of the park. This place has a huge selection, which is good if you know what you're looking for.

I have been to this liquor store quite a few times and had decent experiences, but after last night I will not be going there anymore. Last night it was labeled on the door that the store was closed at 11PM and I show up at 10:55, with plenty of time left, to find out that they have already closed the shop. If liquor sales are going to cease at 10:55 then it should be labeled on the door properly. In my opinion, this is a terrible way to keep your customer base. Safe to say after last night, I will not return to this liquor store. There are plenty of quality liquor stores around this area.

This place is a dump. I don't get how it's stillOpen. The prices are so much higher than anything else around. Almost never been in without some customer going crazy or the staff going crazy.

Absolute trash service. Had a friend go in who is 23 years old and they took his LEGAL ID and said it was fake. Friend told them that it was in fact real and if they were going to refuse to return his real ID that would mean theft and he would need them to call the police. Instead of admitting their wrongs they gave my friend back his ID, told him not to return, and said he was "Doing too much on a Sunday." We were both shocked at how childish these employees acted, my friend comes to this store about every other weekend and today they suddenly don't even recognize him and he's not of legal age. Don't waste your time here, it's not like there aren't 50 other liquor stores in Wichita to spend your money at instead.

These folks are always helpful and welcoming! Will not shop elsewhere - the best in town.

I rushed over to this liquor store to grab a bottle of wine. It was 10:55. There were 3 other cars there, all wanting to purchase alcohol. When I got to the door and it was locked, I pointed to the time on the door and said, "it's not 11" and an employee said something I couldn't understand and motioned something. And I put my hand to my ear to indicate I couldn't hear him as he was across the store. He then proceeded to yell "it's not 11 but the door is f***ing locked" or something along those lines. This is my go to liquor store, as it's the closest to my house. However, I will NEVER go here again. I will also recommend to all my friends and family in the neighborhood to avoid this location. The blantent disrespect for regular customers is unacceptable. If you're not going to keep your store open to the hours written on the door, at least have an explanation better than "the door is f***ing locked." Worst customer service I have ever encountered.
