I am a frequent traveler, and have also stayed at numerous B&B's. This is one of the best places you will ever stay. Laurie and Bill know the meaning of hospitality, and what it takes to make a wonderful inn. Fantastic would be an understatement for the both the breakfasts, as well as the overall experience. As far as I'm concerned, it is the only place to stay in Manhattan. Truly a wonderful experience every time I visit.Accommodations: *****Cleanliness: *****Service: *****Value: *****Food: *****Tip: Laurie's French toast is to die for!

This place has been around FOREVER, and I've always been excited to stay there. (My parents stayed in the early 2000s and loved it.) We finally had a chance with business meetings in Manhattan and a kid-free weekend. I e-mailed the owners about availability. After a few days with no response, my husband called and left a message. The next day he left another. We never heard back. They must be doing ok, or are independently wealthy and don't need the business. Even if they were booked for the weekend we were requesting, a quick e-mail response or phone call telling us such would just be good for business. I've noticed this is a trend with many businesses. I highly doubt this little B&B has SO MANY reservation requests that they don't have time to make contact with those inquiring. Now, I have no desire to stay there in the future, nor suggest it to friends traveling to this lovely little town. Too bad. It really is pretty.
