I just love this restaurant. The ambiance is amazing. My only issue - which is why I gave it 4 stars- is the crab cakes were overcooked and pretty dry. But everything else was top tier. Even the music. My drink- the purple coconut was simply heaven. Prime Rib,- oh so delicious and tender. Mac and cheese with crab .... Chef's kissAnd my creme brulee - I could have had a 2nd helping of that deliciousness. The musician was fire Overall I can't wait to go back. I truly love this place.

Great way to start my new year off, decided to come here for happy hour while in town. While I was there my coworkers decided to eat here for dinner. The service of course was great, nice vibes. I went with my usual which is the fettuccine pasta with shrimp and filet mignon with Brussel sprouts. My co worker went with the ribeye and mash potatoes . 10/10 highly recommend, their HH menu is great as well

This is the second year we've celebrated our anniversary here. The appetizers alone are worth the trip, I have the Crab cake, they're perfect heavily loaded with sweet crab!! Husband had shrimp cocktail which was perfectly cooked and presented. Our steaks are always prepared as requested and so well seasoned! Our Server Dolo was kind and engaged with our celebration, she checked us often and was professional but personable! We got our own private curtained booth, so cozy. The lighting was good and there was live music. We had the best time!

Our first time to eat here. We loved it and will definitely be back! Food was fresh, prepared well and the way we asked and was served promptly. We had their Sunday brunch. Service was friendly and engaging. The restaurant was clean and welcoming with adequate staffing.

Was in town for work and looking for a nice dinner. Had never been here before, looked like a nice high end steak house so we gave it a try. We were seated quickly. Inside is nice, really elegant, like a steak house should be. Dark inside with wine bottles all around. Our waiter was Tanner. He was awesome. Friendly, quick and very helpful with suggestions I ordered a smoked old fashioned while I reviewed the menuI started with the Hamachi Crudo. Not a usual steak house option but looked good on the menu pic. About the menu- you get an iPad, and it has the menu and allows you to click on the dishes for a closer look and description. Pretty cool. The dish was delicious. Perfect balance of flavors between the fish and spices. Great start! For my entree I chose the 12 oz KC Strip. It was a wonderful piece of meat. Very tender and cooked perfectly. I used to order medium rare, but seemed I got way undercooked meat all the time, so started ordering medium and it was slightly better, sometimes medium rare, sometimes medium and occasionally medium well. This place nailed it. Ordered med rare and got med rare. Great job by the kitchen. Seems weird to have to say that but unfortunately most places don't get it rightFor my sides, I had the Mashed potato and the Elote street corn. Both were great. Corn was amazing I added 2 Scallops to my steak and they were seared perfectly and very sweet. I was unsure about the wines, so I ordered one and Tanner said it was good but he had a similar one he thought was better. Brought me samples of both, and by golly he was right! So I ordered his recommendation and blissfully enjoyed my meal. Everything here was exceptional. Wish it was closer to where I liveRed wine

We stopped in to 6S steakhouse for my mother's birthday. We had a party of 6, with a reservation, and were seated immediately. There were a fair number of patrons, primarily couples. The hostess and waiter were pleasant. We ordered calamari, shrimp and lebeh as appetizers- all were competently prepared and presented. For entrees we ordered the tomahawk pork chop, filet mignon, ribeye with various sides of fingerling potatoes, sweet potato fries, and baked potatoes.Everything was nice. Not spectacular. Competent. Nice. Won't embarrass you if you take anyone to visit, May not be a once in a life time experience.

Overall: A beautifully decorated steakhouse, with one of the best waiters we've ever had was a cherry on top of some delicious food and sides.Entrees:Prime Rib (16 oz - $52) - Cooked a perfect medium rare, this prime rib was nearly perfect, as it was flavorful and juicy. The only SLIGHT drawback was the lack of a robust crust that would have put this over the line of perfection.Wagyu Sirloin (8 oz - $50) - This sirloin cut with the tenderness of a filet, and had a delicious spice rub that made it explode with flavor.Sides:Fries ($8) - Crispy and seasoned well, a good steakhouse side.Mac and Cheese ($8) - Creamy and rich, topped with seasoned breadcrumbs.Dessert:Butter Cake ($13) - This was a stellar dessert, rich without being overly heavy. The ice cream it was served with made for a perfect bite, though I wish there was a little more of it!

Title: DisappointingThere was a lot to like about our dinner at 6S. But ultimately it was disappointing. The good:* The décor was attractive and appropriate for fine dining.* A guitarist played softly in the background and set a nice mood.* It was quiet and you could easily have a conversation. Quiet can be hard to find.* The evening started with popovers. This was a nice touch - I can't remember the last time I ate at a restaurant that offered popovers. The disappointing* Our main courses were brought to the table when we were only half-way through our appetizers. This faux pas made us choose between continuing to finish our appetizers and letting our main course get cold or to plunge into the main course and only eat half the appetizers. I can honestly say this was the first time this had ever happened to me in a fine dining restaurant. I would have asked them to take the main course back to the kitchen until we were ready for them but did not want to embarrass my guests. Plus, that would have meant that our food sat in the kitchen and got cold while we finished our appetizers.* A major issue (especially in a restaurant that specializes in steak) was that the meat had very little flavor. I ordered their special KC strip which they state is aged in-house for 28 days. For a $60 steak, I expected a superlative piece of meat. What I got was an oversalted rather tasteless steak. My wife's cousin cooked us steak a couple of nights later that was far superior. And it didn't cost anywhere near $60.ConclusionWhile 6S did a number of things right, the service and the lack of flavor in a very expensive steak keep me from making a positive recommendation. We ate on a Friday night and were surprised that there were few other diners on this typically busy restaurant night. Perhaps others had reached the same conclusion I did.
