The food was OK. It was not the normal. The food was southern home cooking and definitely a barbecue place for Nashville. It was decent and my food was good and it was just a little bit pricey

The cornbread is super tasty! I got the pulled pork and I had to order a second helping of potato salad. Absolutely scrumptious!

$7 for a giant potato, smothered in butter and cheese and then covered with a generous portion of pulled pork? Yes, please!We also tried a few other items, but the loaded baked potato was my favorite. Reasonable prices. Consistently good food. And hands down the worst cornbread I've ever had in my life.

I went here the other day and my usual baked potato tasted great itself, however the entirety of the crust was so burnt it literally tasted like coffee beans. I have 3 people who confirmed this smell . I am grateful to have many sauces, however it was not enough and I was not able to eat any part of the skin, which is disappointing as the shell is the healthiest part of the potato . I went last Thursday for the deal of $6 baked potato.

Great barbecue Tennessee style. They give you a clear vinegar based liquid to pour on the "que". I devour the sandwich quickly because living in Louisville the closest location is Bowling Green. We usually buy 2 or 3 pounds every time we find a Whitts.

Read the reviews and went anyway...glad we did. Not sure what's up with all the negative comments...food was good, decent portions and affordable.I had the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese/corn bread/potato salad. Pork had awesome flavor and moist. Cornbread had a unique flavor and my friend and I liked it more than expected. Both sides were really good also! I took 5 wings home along with a bottle of their hot bbq sauce. Wings had a hot punch and we're decent but a bit dry. Not a fan of the vinegar sauces but the thick ones were excellent.

The pulled chicken was soaked in pepper to the point that my wife and I couldn't eat it. Our mouths were burning it was so bad. They make it bulk so they couldn't redo our order. We will not be going back.

The staffs are very polite and the food is delicious. We ordered family pack 2 (pork). For sides, we had Potato salad & coleslaw. Everything was good. Their coleslaw is not mayo based but crisp and right sourness. Very refreshing. My son recommends to put the coleslaw in the bun with BBQ. I tried it and loved it! I would highly recommend for a quick pick up dinner!!

Had the "beef" plate and it was trash. It tasted like it was boiled or steamed? Bbq means cooked in a grill or a smoker. No idea how this place is still in business.

Always hot food! Always friendly folks! Open for inside customers as well as there drive thru!
