Whiskey River Saloon

Whiskey River Saloon offers stunning rooftop views that make the visit truly memorable. Despite being the only one managing the rooftop, our waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive.The Cinnamon Toast Crunch shooters were a delightful surprise, and the pretzel sticks were soft and buttery, making them the perfect snack.

This restaurant has such a nice rooftop area. The downstairs is nice too. They always have live music, just like all the other bars and restaurants downtown. Unfortunately, this restaurant does not serve food downstairs. So, upstairs we went.I normally do not call out servers with a bad attitude and/or who do not do their job well. But this gal is probably the second one I feel deserves it. Her name is MacKenzie. She had a bad attitude to start. We ordered 12 chicken wings and fries. A guy brings out the wings. Fries never come. So, we told him. MacKenzie comes by and says we never said we wanted fries. We did. She was going back and forth with us. Just bring us fries. She believe she was right...Finally, the fries arrive. She sort of throwthrows them down on the table. They have llittle flavor. So, we ordered Mac and Cheese. This was better but not great. The wings were excellent. Highly recommend those.This was actually the first restaurant we ate at in Nashville. Luckily, the rest of the servers we dealt with were awesome.

Got very frustrated here. We came specifically to watch the gold soccer game and hear incredible music. Three minutes left in the match they start changing the channels. Unreal. Half tne crowd was there for the game. But. Our bartender was sweet. And the music was awesome. Sorry I wad grouchie

Great service. Cold Beer. Beautiful upstairs view. That rooftop location is just stunning for dinner views, although we didn't eat. Handicapped accessible. We were kind of late getting to Broadway as we had just arrived in Nashville so they weren't very busy. Would return.

this saloon in the heart of Nashville on the main strip had really great snacks. I treated everyone to a couple different appetizers and we annihilated the plates. There wasn't much left after we had a couple drinks needed to munch on something we got the pretzels, which were extremely soft and absolutely huge. It came with some special garlic cheese dip that I've never had in my life before, and it was addicting.The chips were fantastic. I like the way they cut it up and mix everything up. It has some kind of spicy cake that was definitely at the table. Lastly, I got the chicken tenders, which was mixed with fries and it was the perfect comfort food that we needed to weigh down the drinks and keep us going for the rest of the night. The bartender was really fantastic and honestly, the service was really sweet.

We spent an afternoon walking down Broadway and a local guy recommended this spot as a rooftop bar that had good food.When you come in there is a dark-ish bar with a band playing. Head to the elevator to get to the rooftop, it's in the back right corner.The rooftop is huge and does have an indoor section as well. Our server was excellent and she put up the umbrella and angled it for us so I could stay on the patio (I have really fair skin and was getting cooked in the afternoon sun). We had a great view of the whole street and the river. But most importantly, our food was great. I had the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and the coleslaw was excellent. Husband had Philly Cheesesteak with fries. Both were great and my old fashioned was good too. One of the best (and least expensive!) drinks I had on my trip.

We were looking for a palace with great service, a live band and a cool atmosphere. We found it here.We walked and the lightning decor was super cool with tons of seating. The bartender was quick to take care of us and 10-12 other patrons without skipping a beat. We did not have a chance to get food.They had two fantastic bands back to back that killed it.This was a wonderful place we will visit again.

My friends and I came here for some drinks. Casual atmosphere. We went to the rooftop and enjoyed the view. They offer cocktails, beer, seltzer. I asked about wine, but the selections were limited. Prices were average. The food menu looked good. They also have brunch. Service was friendly and the bathrooms were clean.

I really enjoy this place. The drinks are fantastic and the atmosphere is lively. The rooftop area is well-maintained, and the waitstaff is very attentive. The view during the day is beautiful, making it a great spot to spend the evening with good company.
