Everytime I come to Davis Square I love dropping by because their sourdough makes for some yummy avocado toast. It's a bit pricey (usually $7 a loaf) but they do have $3 sourdough deals on Wednesdays and help slice the bread for you. It's also nice being able to support our local businesses. The employees are also so lovely. They really know the flavor profiles of each loaf and are always happy to chat.

Their bread varieties are pretty amazing, although they need more vegan options. I was shocked to see how much their loaves of bread cost though. It's kind of unnecessary for it to cost so much but I know supporting small businesses are important.

I mean it's 'When Pigs Fly', the bread is great. However, we did not like the customer service. There was a guy and girl working when we paid the visit. The gentleman who works the register was pretty rude when we asked questions about the bread and ruined our experience. We grabbed sourdough bread with some donuts (they sold Union Square donuts, not their own, which I found it odd.)I might return when I need good bread but probably not when he works there. Inside is perfect space for what they are selling, is small and there is no seating.

I got a loaf of the harvest cranberry, which wasn't my first choice, but they were sold out of most things by the time I arrived near closing. But!! It did not disappoint at all. The bread was so fresh and had the perfect amount of toppings scattered inside. I had to stop myself from devouring more than a few slices since I was headed to dinner.I'll definitely be back, earlier in the day next time!

I am a huge fan of When Pigs Fly bread because of all their fun flavors-- standouts include their sundried tomato which have pieces studded throughout and the baby spinach, onion and garlic which is perfect for an avocado toast. I appreciate that their bags are freezer safe because I can toss a whole sliced bag into my freezer and have it on hand whenever; slices toast up super well from frozen without needing to de thaw. Service is uniformly super friendly across all the Boston stores. There's no where to sit down inside to enjoy their baked goods.

stopped by here for something sweet on a thursday afternoon. sadly, they were out of donuts and most pastries! i ended up getting a salted caramel chocolate chip cookie which was all right. in my opinion, it was over salted and wasn't anything to special. however, it was a huge cookie and the portion was worth the money. next time, i would definitely try some of the other pastries and the bread!other than that, the shop is small but cozy. service is kind too. loved the vibes here!

Yum! stopped by on a Wednesday for their $3 sourdough special. It's a decent sized loaf, and the bread tastes super fresh. Had to freeze most of it to endure freshness, looking forward to enjoying it in future days!

The bread is excellent. Inside is small and cute, perfect space for what they are selling. The customer service not so excellent. There a particular gentleman who works the register most days I come in. Today there was a "be back in 10 minutes" sign, which was fine. I pulled on the door to see if it was still locked after waiting about 5 minutes and he came to the door, stopped, looked me dead in the eyes and gave me the rudest look, then proceeded to unlock to door and be rather rude to me as I asked for my bread. I felt uncomfortable and was confused why he was irritated with me when he's the one who locked the door during open hours? I probably will not be returning here unless I see someone else working because I feel so uncomfortable.

I stopped in to grab some of their yummy loaves this morning and felt like I was irritating the man working. I was the only person in the store. I started to tell him what I wanted and he quickly prompted me to let him know when I was ready with my full order and he would then begin slicing. I chose 3 and while he was slicing I kept looking. I wanted to add two more loaves - and did but was legit afraid I was gonna piss him off. I mean, isn't that what they want us to do - order more stuff? I shouldn't be thinking I am brave just wanting to give them more of my money.
