i asked for "no cheese" but got a taquito that looked as though someone attempted to scrape the cheese off an already made taco?? then when i call to explain the situation, khaila, the same rude cashier that took my order, was even more rude over the phone!!! acting as if my phone call was an inconvenience. there was no line and they still managed to get it wrong.but they're usually polite over the phone at the LEAST. this location sucks and the customer service is trash.

Two months ago I had a really bad experience at the Whataburger on 45 just a little south of Dallas. And this has always been me and my family's home Whataburger since we moved into the neighborhood in 1996, when it was still a Texas family-owned restaurant, we never had an issue with it. But this is the first time I have been to it since the Chicago investors bought it.After six hours at Twin Peaks watching the Astros beat Aaron Judge and the rest of the New York City Yankees I was a little hungry on my way home... It could've been a good drinks at Twin Peaks as well!! I had received a coupon for their new chili burger with the Fritos on it... Which is a shame I have to write this because their new chili burger is actually very good! Not quite as good as their Green Hatch Chili burgers they used to have, when they were owned by a Texas family. But if they don't have the green hatch chili burgers this was soon to be a regular for me.I did notice that they no longer have the signs in their window that their burgers are made with 100% "American" beef, but with just beef. I am pretty particular about my beef especially since my younger brother is in the beef industry, and has taught me the difference between American beef and the rest. So where are you getting your beef these days? Inquiring minds would like to know...So I had bought a double burger combo to be used with the coupon to get the complimentary New chili burger. So that's two double burger combos and a large order of fries.... A sidenote: like I said this used to be our families local Whataburger and for being 11 o'clock at night this place was packed. There were 10 cars in front of me in the drive-through and I still waited in line for this new chili burger. So I was at the window picking up my order, as a young man in the window handed me my bag I asked for extra spicy ketchup... and he replied you only get one catch-up because you only have one order of french fries.I looked at him and said, really with two double burgers and a large order of fries I get one ketchup? And he said yes sir...At this point Whataburger has lost a family and anybody else that will listen to me, of what used to be very happy customers, but between the who knows where you're getting your beef from and the idea that you're not gonna hand out a couple extra ketchups...I'm not going to be nickeled and dime to death, keep your ketchup and keep your beef from who knows where...This was the last time we will ever go to a Whataburger. This seems to be a trend in the restaurant industry... changing recipes, Substituting cheaper ingredients, poor service from people who don't realize that a tip needs to be earned and it wasn't just automatic, smaller portions and yet the prices just seem to go up!!! And I want to emphasize I did not experience any of this other than they have gotten a little stingy with their spicy ketchup, which is what I thought put them above most other fast food Burger restaurants.Which is made us cook more at home and I believe strengthen our family in general. Some thing I think our country sorely needs is better family values.

This Whataburger is located right across the street from Discount Tire. Which mean, if you're having anything done at Discount Tire, you could just walk across the street and stop by here and get some juicy burger and fries and shake and whatever else that they have to offer.I was having the tires on my car balanced and rotated at Discount Tire and so I came here to eat and wait. The restaurant was pretty empty when I came in and there was no line. Someone immediately took my order so the service was pretty fast. However, don't expect any kind of hospitality - the attitude here is more of "what do you want" type.My order came out pretty fast. However, the bacon cheeseburger that I had ordered was pretty sad and wasn't at all a representation of the Whataburger that I know and love. The bacon was chewy, the patty was somewhat dry, and the fries weren't as crispy as I'd hoped. They didn't, however, mess up my order so there's that.Would I come back? I probably would if I had my car serviced at Discount Tire again. But then again, there are plenty of other restaurants in the area albeit they're not as close as Whataburger. But hey, when your car is being worked on, you have nothing but time, right?

We had came here (finally) for a late night snack after a trip to Austin. One of my friends had been going on and on about Whataburger since we had arrived. To fill his curiosity and my own hunger (hehe), I gave in and decided to go to Whataburger after we can cleaned up after our day trip. This location was one of the 2 near by (probably the closer one). When we had arrived, there were about 9 cars in the drive through. Keep in mind this was at like 1130PM on a Saturday night. Damn ! This is like an In-n-Out back home, being so busy so late at night. It took about 45 minutes to get through the line, from getting in line, to finishing up. By the time we got through the line, there were about 12 more cars behind us. A few minutes after we had arrived, the car that was at the window had gotten their order, but after he moved, he seemed to have checked his order, parked and walked to the door and knocked. Apparently they got his order wrong. I was in the car and was like... ok since we are in the back, and this is a 4runner, I can hop over this curb and GTFO of there fast if things go south. Luckily, nothing happened besides their order was re-done I guess? When we finally got to ordering, OH MAN.... the ordering process was HORRIBLE and PAINFUL ! Since we all didn't want drinks, we ordered 3 burgers and 1 large fries. Sounds simple right? Typically you'd be like "Can I get a jalapeno & cheese Whataburger, a Whataburger w/ avocado and jalapenos, and a double meat Whataburger w/ avocado and jalapenos. Also a large fries" and be done with it right? Nope... I literally had to say "Can I get a number 4 Jalapeno & Cheese Whataburger, just the sandwich, a number 1 Whataburger, just the sandwich, with avocado, and sliced jalapenos, a number 2 Double Meat Whataburger, just the sandwich, with avocado, and sliced jalapenos. And Also, a large fries". Spoken very slowly... I know its a Saturday night, and busy but as like other people said, the staff has no sense of urgency. When we finally got to the window, they were all talking up a storm, laughing, working at their own speed. No wonder it took 45 minutes for less than 10 cars. We didn't realize this until later, but we believed they overcharged us and added things. We were charged for slices of cheese to each burger. So the Whataburger and the double meat had 1 and 2 slices added at additional charge, along with the stuff we had asked for. Huh? Do these not have cheese? Or they had cheese and they added more? We didn't wanna be there anymore so we just went straight home. After getting home, we had looked into it more. Apparently maybe normal whataburgers don't have cheese? oh well. I had gotten the whataburger with avocado and jalapenos. Overall, was fairly decent. Our friend who lives in Houston doesn't like Whataburger but we were fine with it. Burger itself is fairly large, maybe the size of a Whopper from Burger King. Shredded lettuce, cheese, avocado, jalapenos. It reminded of me of a burger I've had in the past but unsure where. Friend who wanted to try Whataburger I think said hes similar to FatBurger. Maybe? But I haven't had that in at least 10 years. Overall, food was fairly decent. The fries was exactly like McDonalds fries. Mildly on the pricier side overall. 3 burgers and fries cost almost $21. Yeah there was a bit of extras but still on the pricier side I guess. Oh well. At least we've tried it.

I stopped in for an early lunch break today. I ordered a Bacon & Cheese Whataburger with mayo instead of the mustard and grilled onions (which you can get at no additional cost), onion rings and a DP. It was about what you'd expect from any other Whataburger. I'm an alumni of the company, so I know how their food is supposed to taste. I do wish the bacon was a tad crispier, but you could easily ask for crispier bacon, and that's really my major difference between 4 stars and 5 stars. I did notice they brought back the Dr. Pepper shake, which I thought its removal from the menu was a criminal act, because I sold a ton of DP shakes during my time as a cashier. Maybe I'll get one before they sell out again. It pairs really well with the burger I just explained. But overall, good job. I will be back.

Service was much better than you would expect from a busy fast food restaurant. I had my two little ones by myself and they were very patient as we took a hot minute to place our order (god bless the lady behind us!). The manager was extremely friendly and great with the kiddos! Thank you for making our lives that much better!

Not to be confused with Copperburger, which is a place that either sells orange-glowing burgers, or a place where the police come to gain weight. Or both perhaps. This is a pretty poor representation of a Whataburger, and it's located right next to my favourite Popeyes, so that makes it even less enjoyable.Whenever I need some kind of quick food around here it's always going to be Popeye's. They make hot fresh juicy chicken sandwiches next door, the best of their kind, putting most fast food to shame, and hee the chicken sandwich has been cold or lukewarm both of the times that I've gotten it.Barbie hasn't liked the other products they were selling either.

Ordered a bread less jalapeño burger. They seemed confused at first but it was perfect. Good presentation on the way it was served.
