Wet Tacos

These are the best birria tacos in San Diego! I formerly thought that I didn't like birria because the places I had been too were too greasy for my liking. However, Wet Tacos changed my mind as the meat is high quality, tender, and the flavor is delicious! We had Wet Tacos cater our engagement party and they did an incredible job. The horchata was delicious and all my guests were raving about the birria tacos. Many guests went for seconds! Plus the owners Marco and Vanessa are very kind and personable. They will take great care of you, so you don't have to worry and can enjoy your party.I recommend following them on Instagram @eatwettacos, as this is the best way to stay in the loop. They post where they will set up each week and you don't want to miss it! I also recommend going earlier rather than later, because they often sell out since its so good!

This is a taco truck that was at a Christmas party we got invited to , we had the butter Cajun shrimp tacos and a quesabirria the gentleman that attended to us was very attentive and polite , he gave us a few recommendations and he was right the salsas were just perfect Spicey enough for me . We enjoyed very much the Christmas gathering and I will definitely goTo their location to have more of those shrimp tacos ! Congratulations to wet tacos for serving us delicious food

Absolutely the best birria in San Diego! The birria is outrageously flavorful and tender and the quality is consistent! We've tried the birria tacos, the birria quesadilla and the surf and turf quesadilla and all were delicious!The birria quesadilla is a huge portion for a very reasonable price! We would get all three dishes again :)The owners, Marco and Vanessa, are so friendly and always a pleasure to chat with. Run, don't walk, to eat wet tacos!!

Ordered the Wet Birria Tacos with everything on it and despite the sizes of them being small (see lime for scale), they pack a punch for flavor so get extra! The service was speedy, and they were super gracious with explaining how they work. Their being Zabiha halal (view their instagram) is a great way for everyone to eat and I can't wait to see what else they do with their food.

If there was 10 Stars I would leave 10. First off I'm Muslim so I find it really dope that my favorite food "Mexican food" and more specifically "Birria" is now enjoyable with Halal meat. Everything from the portion to the crispiness of the outer layer of the tortilla to their bomb, red and green sauce and most importantly the quality of the meat, both tender, moist and wet all gives the reason to give this place the praise that they deserve. I was relaxing at home on a Saturday and they popped up on my Instagram feed. they had a pop-up location down the street from my house so I gave it a shot and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I came here last night and damn this place is hella good!! We ordered the surf and turf and birriadilla. Soooo much flavor, so juicy!! I seriously can't wait to come back here and try the other foods. I recommend this place to everyone!!!

My apartment hosted this food truck on site and although it took a while to get my order it was worth the wait. The tacos were delicious and I loved how they served it with a small order of consume which was perfect for dipping the taco for even more flavor!!! If you ever see them out and about try them out.

Wife and I ordered the surf and turf and the Birriadilla. Man the cooks threw down. The food was very flavorful. Probably top 5 Birria spots in San Diego. The food is made under a small canopy so you can't really see the location. I'll definitely be coming back to this spot!

Best food I've had in the area hands down, every bite was perfect and amazing. They also made the pickup process very convenient by texting me when I should head over so the food was perfectly fresh when I arrived.

Honestly, I'm usually whatever about birria tacos cause they get messy. But these were worth the juicy mess 100%. I ended up getting cause the chef recommended it since I was extra hungry after climbing. I was not disappointed it was a hefty portion, crunchy, cheesy, juicy and flavorful.
