My boyfriend and I went for a cute Valentine's Day dinner! We had oysters, caviar, the pork chop, and some pasta! It was great service and the outdoor tent was warm enough to enjoy the city view at night. Great for a quiet date night and good food.

First time visiting this spot after looking for a brunch spot with a view. Definitely worth going when it's warm and sunny. However, for the portion of meals and limited selection of items on menu, I cannot justify the price. Meal was delicious, but for a party of 3 (2 meals, 3 appetizers, oyster order & 3 drinks) - paying nearly $300 for that wasn't exactly worth it. We still left hungry after all that. Service was fantastic - shoutout to our server.

Visited Westward on a beautiful day by the water, and it was a delightful experience. The setting by the water was absolutely stunning. Sitting there with a view of the water and the clear blue skies was the perfect way to unwind after a long hike. It added an extra layer of serenity to our dining experience. The oysters were a bit on the pricey side, but were undeniably good. Even though they weren't in season, they still managed to impress. The freshness and flavor were on point, making them worth the splurge. Clam dip however, was mediocre. Nothing too memorable. The service we received was exceptional. The staff was attentive and friendly, which always enhances the overall dining experience. One of the highlights of Westward is its lovely ambiance. The restaurant exudes a charming atmosphere that complements the waterfront location perfectly. It's a place where you can relax and enjoy your meal while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

I was given a Sea Creatures gift card so a friend and I decided to try Westward! We are not huge seafood eaters so we were ready to explore. I made a 7:30 reservation on a Saturday, it wasn't too crowded but it was a tad chilly so we wanted to be sure we got an indoor seat, though there were plenty of people sitting outdoors, which looked very comfortable. The host was extremely nice, gave us a more comfortable seat, moved the table so we wouldn't be in the way of other tables around us, so already the service was great. When our waitress came to take our orders, she explained the different flavors of their oyster list, and answered any of our other questions thoroughly. We decided to order 3 raw oysters from the more salty selections, the spicy clam dip, the Yukon potato's, and the steak and the halibut. We got the spicy calm dip first and it was absolutely delicious. We were also given housemate potato chips that were adequately salted and very crunchy, so again. Delicious. We ended up getting more chips due to how much we enjoyed them! The oysters were then served, and they were all great. The halibut and steak and potatoes came out (which we got with a garlic aioli). All were delicious, but the stand out to me was the crispy artichoke that came out with the halibut! But everything was cooked well, flavored and appropriately salted. Our waitress was great, came around often to refill our waters, and overall was nice and made sure we were taken care of! I'd definitely come back for fancy occasions!

Location Location Location What spectacular view of seattle you get from this tiny hole in wall spot. They have a limited menu but everything was fresh and wholesome. The service is super friendly. Super chilled out place! A great place to get appys and a drink on a sunny seattle day!Little disappointed the server charged us $5 for hot sauce on the side. It's a condiment, who does that? Overall though, great time

Came here for a very special birthday celebration, and we were extremely disappointed:1. Spent $40 for 5 prawns that came in the shell- so the spices and sauce were on the shell and we had to remove the shell, so all you get is shrimp for $8 each.2. Spent $$$$ on salmon that was filled with bones - not a pleasant experience at all.3. No complimentary bread ? Pay $8 for it? Pay $4 for cocktail sauce with the oysters which is usually complimentary? 4. They charged my card to the wrong table. I had to notice and point it out. 5. Service was bad/lacking: we were rarely checked in on and had servers switch on us halfway through the meal.6. Would be 1 star, but the ambiance was cute and my date was beautiful. So 2 stars.

Parking: They have a small lot in front of the restaurant but the rest is street parking. Service 2/5: Other than the host stand, the service was terrible. Not once did our server check on us, or offer any recommendations. She never came back around to check on us. I had to flag her down to order and to run the check. The restaurant itself is so aesthetic. Sits right on the water front. They offer indoor dining and outdoor. Perfect spot for a date night. Even had all the best tunes playing. FoodSpicy Clam Dip 4/5: This was great. Super creamy and flavorful. Came with a side of homemade potato chips that were just the right crunch without being too salty.Crispy Yukon Potatoes 3/5: Came out piping hot! However it was was bit bland. We had to request a side of salt even with the sides of homemade ketchup and mayo aioli. Seafood Tower 5/5: This was worth the bang for your buck! The oysters here are so fresh. I also recommend ordering that fresno hot sauce for an additional charge! Keep in mind that oysters in Seattle will cost approx. the same at every restaurant ($3-$5 per oyster) It also came with a vinaigrette and fresh shaven horseradish. Only thing that I wish was that the server would explain the contents of the tower to us. I heard the server for the other table explaining each dish. Drinks: This restaurant was more tequila based, which isn't my drink of choice but I did opt for the gin drink - Strawberry Fields, and it was delicious!

We had an excellent experience dining at Westward. Westward is located right on the lake and has indoor and outdoor seating. We got an outdoor table on a nice summer night. We started by ordering a few oysters. We started with the spicy clam dip and the Copper River Salmon, both were delicious. After inquiring about the copper river salmon, the waitress told us to always order it if it is on a menu in Seattle, since it's not available most of the year. Our favorite dish may have been the Baked Sea Scallop - VERY flavorful! It was served with ramp butter and pickled ramp relish. We also enjoyed the roasted asparagus and seared halibut, which was served with preserved lemon butter, fried artichoke, dill

The venue was tucked away along the Northlake Avenue and the ship canal. It has a small view of the water from the inside, the outside views of the water and city were better. The service was short staffed but very nice and helpful when they were able to make it to our table. They compensated us by providing us with free chips and a creamy still sauce, which was yummy! The oysters on the menu were the hit (essentially market price was $5/oyster). We got the steamed Manila clams which were tasty but the broth was a little overly salty. The sea wolf bread was great crusty bread and the crushed fried potatoes were tastefully done.I wished they had had a better wine selection by the glass, but it looked like they had a good selection of cocktails. The parking lot for like 6 cars but there was a good amount of street parking across the street, plus it was free. That may have been the highlight of my night.

This place can get busy so reservations are definitely recommended. Even just checking in there was a line building up. I'm a fan of oysters so this spot was a no brainer for me. The baked oysters were huge and so yummy. The clam dip was also great. Service was pretty attentive, however, where we were sitting at the communal table is right by one of the sinks. The staff constantly kept letting water spray directly at me...it was a hot day so I wasn't too annoyed but it did happen multiple times so wtf?
