We love this shop and value the owners Tom and Jan so much, but it has just been sold (to another local person, at least). We sincerely hope the new owners maintain the friendly, non-snooty but highly knowledgeable ambience with the wide price range. Something for everyone! So superior to the grocery store selection. Highly recommended.

I've been buying wine & champagne here for 9+ years & love the store & classes. Tom & Jan are always incredibly helpful & knowledgeable. They have a great selection of grower champagne (some of which can be very hard to find elsewhere). Recommend checking out their classes & weekly tastings.

Our own little slice of Wine Heaven, right in West Seattle. Free tastings on Thursdays.. An amazing wine club as well. Tom and Jan know their wine, and are always eager to help pick out the right wine for any occasion! They also specialize in 'small vineyards' wines, which never fail to delight. and make sure to check out the 'bargain' bin in front of the tasting bar. Nothing over $15 as a general rule, and ALWAYS a stunning bottle of love.

Love this little wine shop! We have been in a couple times and the staff is always very helpful, and provide great recommendations. They have free tastings every Thursday, too!

West Seattle Cellars know their wines.Off the shelf I blindly purchased a Sancerre Blanc and a Prosecco. The risk of blindly purchasing a wine you've never sampled is one of two outcomes: you have a fantastic glass of wine or you pour a bottle down the drain. Both wines were in the former category, and as I love to generalize all things in my life, I can only conclude that Tom and Jan are excellent curators of the wines they sample and sell.In fact, I've been combing wine shops all over Seattle for a particular bottle that I enjoyed at a friend's party earlier this year. Tom and Jan had recently sampled the same wine as a potential wine club candidate, and I was able to order a bottle without any additional fees. Tom and Jan ordered a few extra bottles to sell on the shelf, so I was able to pick up an additional two bottles! I will be back for the rest, naturally.

Safeway has a better selection and at better prices. Asked them to see if they could special order me a wine, and I never heard back from them. Not inclined to ever return.

On an evening stroll I stopped in to see if they had a particular wine, which they did not. They did, however, have an enthusiastic and knowledgeable owner who ordered the wine and enlightened me on other wines that I may like in the meantime. This is a refreshing change from other nearby wine shops where I feel like I'm annoying the staff if I ask questions or need help.I will def be back- not only to pick up my ordered wine, but for all my future wine needs!

The selection here is incredible! Thursday night wine tastings are very fun. Love how they switch up the region each week. Kind, welcoming staff, local art on the walls... Bravo!

I can't say enough about how much I love this little wine shop. One of the best and highly curated selections in the city. The owners are amazing and have a deep knowledge of what they sell. They are experts at pairing with meals and have an excellent selection of growers champagnes.
