Parking here is tricky. I ended up walking here as I was in West Seattle exploring the fun neighborhood vibes. Reminded me of living in Hollywood a bit as it is a city scape area with many different places to eat, shop and drink. I digress, back to the beer! The five stars is for the beer and the service. Brooklyn was absolutely knowlegable in her recommendation and I ended up with a pint of Scottish Ale. She was fun, friendly and generous with tasters, lol. The Scottish Ale is a 7% smooth drinking brown ale with a sweet taste. The beers are made on site and the place started picking up in the afternoon. I appreciated Brooklyn's handling of an obvious local sitting at the bar becoming a bit, well, rude. She gently encouraged him to leave and apologized to another patron for his rude behavior. Kudos to her. I would come back here for sure. Cheers and happy Yelping.

I thought this brewery was just okay. They don't have a wide variety of beers on tap (only one hazy IPA) and their draft list is limited. I didn't try the food. We were also only 1 of 2 parties on a Saturday afternoon which suggests there are better breweries in the area to hit instead. I did appreciate that they have HH pricing on a weekend. Not sure I'll be back but it was a decent beer.

We have been to a tone of breweries and this is one of the better ones in the area. The beer itself was pretty solid. We ended up getting a hazy and it was exactly what we were looking for: bright, juicy, and flavorful. The view is probably the best view of all the breweries I have been to as well. It looks right out at the beach and is perfect for sunsets. The one thing I would say is that they use plastic cups for all their beer which is a waste and takes away from the experience. They may do that to keep people from walking away with their glasses once they sit outside, but it's still a bummer. Either way I would still recommend them.

Usually, I stop by for some beer. But, today it's the pizza! I order a pepperoni pizza for here and it was amazing! It's toasted to crisp and perfect as a tavern pizza style as should. Pizza sauce was amazing. There's one pizza place in west Seattle that I can compare it to is Pizza 22. You can't find a tavern pizza this perfect than these two in West Seattle! I highly recommend it! Lam

It would be shocking to me that beer this bad can survive in a city like Seattle but the location kept it in business I suppose.

I love the location on Alki and I am so sad that it is closing. It was a great spot to grab a drink and enjoy the beach. I enjoy the location near the junction but it's just not the same. I'll be returning but wish they could still stay on Alki somehow..

It's a cool space for sure. As of spring 2016, they still have a bit of work to do before it's finished, but it's shaping up amazingly. It's right on the busy hillclimb side of Fauntleroy, and you have to run around back to get to the parking lot. But once you settle in, it's an unbelievably relaxing place to sit and watch the traffic. The main door is a big neo-rustic heavy wooden slab, with light showing between the planks. Next to that are three huge all-glass roll-up garage doors, which flood the place with light all the time, and air when they're open. The bar comes out almost to the doors. Lots of tall tables and tall stools throughout. They have the wall roughed in to separate the brewhouse from the taphouse, but right now you can walk right between the frames. Still, the setting feels finished, and feels fantastic. They offer a ton of house beers, along with a few guests and I think some wine and maybe a cider or something. They're right next door to Jones BBQ, which carries orders over to the taphouse. Match made in heaven between those two. I'm lukewarm on Jones, but they definitely have their fans, and it's hard to argue the combination of fresh beer and hand-delivered bbq. For years, this place was always closed whenever you'd drive by, but they've suddenly made all this effort to spruce things up, even hired an experienced pro brewer from out of state. They're really making a go of it, and the crowds seem to be paying off their efforts. There are tons of flat screens around the taproom, tuned to the game--this place is a hangout.I can't really call this the most welcoming place, though, to be honest. I stood at the bar forever while the barkeep puttered around, then he came over when a regular walked in behind me--and chatted with the regular for a while. He took my order pretty much without a word, and then he and the regular laughed about how difficult i was making his job by paying in cash. That's fine if you don't need the business, I guess.

I heard from a good friend that West Seattle Brewery had re-opened on June 5th, 2015 and it was a lazy Sunday so I dropped by to check it out. They have remodeled and the entire wall facing the street has been replaced by garage doors that opens the place up where you feel like you're on a patio. They make some sandwiches and I had the ham and swiss on a croissant that came with chips that was really tasty. I paired it with their triple amber and really enjoyed just hanging out at the bar watching the big screen televisions showing some sporting events. I also had their triple IPA and it was really good too. I'll definitely be coming back here soon as its really laid back, beer is good and they have some tasty sandwiches.

I saw Adam Tiller perform during the first comedy night and he was hilarious! I highly recommend the bar, the ambiance is great and surprisingly quiet for being next to such a busy road. If you haven't seen Adam live you're doing yourself a disservice! I hope they have more comedy nights there!

The drinks are awesome! These guys are such great host. You walk in and it's like you are part of the family. Actually they are way nicer than my family. Lol. This joint is always clean and has great karaoke on Wednesday nights, DJs and bands on weekends and sometimes even has ping pong.
