I had such a blast at this arcade! I had no idea, but they actually stayed open after their regular hours just so I could finish my game. It's a pretty good-sized place and it's jam-packed with awesome games. Plus, your money really stretches here. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Super fun & family friendly arcade! They have something for all ages with a wide selection of modern arcade machines, prizes to win, Japanese imports, and both vintage and modern pinball. Very clean, comfortable, and everything is super well maintained. You can really feel the passion and care that the owners have for this space!

Small but fun space. About half the games are aimed for collecting tickets for prizes but they do have fun games like Mario cart and air hockey. The only downside is the limited size and you can spend a lot of money in a short time if you aren't careful.

What a cool arcade! I wish they had more games from the 2000's, but it's a lot of fun. Owners are very nice and staff is friendly. Generally easy to win at the claw games which makes it fun. Fun place to go for a bit. Also nice walking/running path along the water.

I had a good time at the West Seattle Arcade! They are located on Alki Ave, right across from Alki beach. They use play cards, which are like Orca cards. You load money onto it and then just tap at the machines to play. It is definitely more convenient than using quarters or tokens, but it is also hard to keep track of how much money you are spending for each game.I thought they had a good mix of machines here. They had some pinball machines, driving games, basketball and Skee-Ball, etc. They have a list of all their machines on their website. My favorite one turned out to be a fishing game called Treasure Cove.I went on a weekend on there were tons of really small kids there. It was also pretty difficult to find street parking nearby. I wish the place was a little bit bigger, but they do a good job with the space they have. You can get virtual tickets from some of the games and you can turn them in for small prizes (like Chuck E. Cheese). I thought the workers were pretty nice and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this place and it is a fun activity to do while you are near Alki Beach.

Nice recreation spot on Alki gets mixed reviews from me. I fondly remember the 'Penny Arcades' of my youth (no, I'm not going to tell you how old I am). West Seattle Arcade is a nice reboot of the concept, but with a few flaws that I fear may impact its long-term viability.THE ROSES: VERY attractive space! WSA is well laid out, extremely clean, and not so loud you can't hear yourself think. It has a very nice selection of pinball machines, video games, and games for prizes. If you like skee-ball, you'll love the row of these machines in the back. VERY family-friendly; unlike many arcades, this place has a zero 'Sketch Factor'. No unsavory characters anywhere! THE THORNS: Being on Alki, parking can be an issue on busy weekends and in the summer. My biggest concern is that the games are EXPEN$IVE!!! If you turn your littles loose in here, you'd better bring some serious coin with you. A family outing here is only slightly less spendy than a trip to the local ski area!THE VERDICT: I honestly hope I'm wrong about WSA's viability. It's nice to have something along the beach that isn't an eatery or a bar. The problem is that I just can't justify the prices for playing a few rounds of pinball. For me, I get a lot more bang for my buck at the Seattle Pinball Museum in Chinatown or Georgetown Pizza & Arcade.Neither recommend nor discourage

The best, cleanest, happiest and most fun place for kids of all ages! The staff is amazing and very helpful. The games are clean and new or nearly new. Everything works perfectly and no quarters needed-all with a play card so you can save your winnings for the next visit. Birthday party room for all! Step right out to the beach at Alki from the front door. Lots of windows and light. So. Much. FUN!
