The food was definitely soo delicious for sure!!!!! The service was very quick as well.. the shrimp tacos are sooo bomb and the tacos i had with the sauce was soooo yummy.. i saved the sauce just to eat over some rice!!! Soo tasty... the ambience of the restaurant was nice and chill you can't go wrong there. Nice area for sure!!! I'll be back again!!!!

Really tasty tacos here! I picked up three, the chicken tacos and a fish taco, with a side of rice. They do have dine in but I took my food to go since I was visiting. It really is a no frills kind of place, which was perfectly fine with me. The prices were decent and the portions were great! The side of rice was kind of tiny but honestly, it was enough for what I needed. The fish taco had really good toppings, but the flavor of the fish was lacking. The chicken tacos were stuffed and the fresh onions/cilantro on top were nice. I also grabbed a few of the spicy and mild sauces to put on top of all three tacos, would highly recommend!

I found the food at this West Coast Taco Shop location slightly better. The service seemed to be slightly faster so I favor this shop. I returned a few more times for burritos and nachos. My burrito was as close to tex-mex as I have had in Nashville. It had some weight to it and hit the spot nicely. There was enough cheese and sour cream to add richness to all the other ingredients present. The nachos are a pretty heafty portion size with plenty of tomatoes, guac, sour cream, and shredded cheese. I think that both are worth the price and will get you full. The birria steak taco did not stand out and I would not have to have it again. West Coast Taco Shop has some reasonably good food.

I recently tried West Coast Taco Shop. We ordered chips with guacamole and with salsa. The guacamole had a smooth texture and it was pretty good. We enjoyed the salsa and thought it also had good flavor. My husband ordered a steak burrito bowl, which said was okay, but the steak wasn't tender. It came with meat, beans, rice, and guacamole. My food was delivered about five minutes after his came. I ordered three tacos: one fish, one chicken, and one birria taco (I had been wanting to try these). The fish taco was fried, and the fish was a very dark brown, fried a little too long. The chicken taco was messy and fell apart. The chicken did not have much flavor, either. The birria taco was the best of the three. It had a great flavor, but did not come with consommé, which disappointed me. Apparently you can order this on the side, but it doesn't say that anywhere on the menu, and it wasn't mentioned when we placed our order. Overall, we didn't leave hungry, but there are other Mexican restaurants that we prefer in this area. With a price tag of about $40 for lunch I am not sure we will return.

I've struggled to find convenient Mexican food in the Nashville area. I work out in the hermitage area and was told to give West Coast Taco a try. This place has plenty of seating and very accommodating for any person & group. Order right at the counter and your food comes out within a couple of minutes. I had to give their west coast burrito an attempt so I went with steak on one & carnitas (my favorite) for the other. You're definitely getting what you paid for. This isn't like chipotle where they're going to stiff you on the serving size. Food was tasty! Not the most flavorful I've had but good enough to keep me coming back.

I'm visiting from California and was convinced to give this place a try. Being from California, I know good Mexican food and truly did not expect it to be good. I was wrong! The al pastor burrito was excellent and rivaled the California versions. Tortillas were done right, the meat was excellently seasoned and tender and the prided hot sauce topped it off perfectly!! Give this spot a try!!

Had to stop in since the owners are from my hometown! Red Tacos. The shell was crisped just right. It was actually perfect! The carne was chopped so the texture was delectable and reminded me to SD taco shops...didn't really need the Red Sauce, but, I dipped my fries in 'em=*}SD Burrito. I was gna give Four Stars due to my expectation of biting into the Burrito, the carne was cold. Although they grilled the flour tortilla, U didn't get the temperature of freshly grilled carne asada.Bathrm. They deserve FIVE Stars bc their bathrm was hella clean! No mirror but I'd take a clean bathrm anyday!!!Sauce. The salsa verde was on point!!!DiningRm. Clean!!! No trash on the floors=*}Will come back when I'm in town again!!!

Nice service. Tasty food. First time at the place, I ordered the burrito bowl with steak. Very delicious and good portion size. The bowl cost around $12 or $13 since the steak added another $1. Then again, the steak burrito bowl was totally worth it. The bowl contains black beans, rice, pico, guac, and lettuce along with the meat. Highly recommend and I would visit again.

Coming from a person who is from the West Coast, this place definitely does not live up to its name. These were the driest, unseasoned tacos I've ever had. & to top it off... the service was HORRIBLE. I don't see how this place has a four star rating.
