There is nothing I love more than a food market with alllllllll types of cuisine to choose from. After working at the Yelp office for the morning and not knowing exactly where I was, I broke out my, well (of course), Yelp app to see some hot spots around me. This market turned out to be just around the corner, so I gathered my purse and hit the street to check it out. After walking around and smelling delicious food in this brand-new (at least it looks it!) food market, I happily settled on a burrito bowl from Dos Toros. Other options included seafood, burgers, sandwiches, sushi and more. It was quite crowded around lunch so I went in and out pretty quickly, but loved the interior design. Cute spot if to stop in for lunch if you're in the area!

Nice food hall with a diverse selection of cuisines - sushi, ramen, burgers, bbq, Mexican, healthy salads, donuts, ice cream, etc. Italian and Indian would be nice additions! From the Fare stall, I enjoyed the Veggie Bowl loaded with greens, grains, beets, sweet potatoes, watermelon radishes, and a chickpea patty. From Grand Central Bar, the bubbly Rose was refreshing. Note - at the Sushi stall, you can only get fresh sushi when you sit down at the counter in the tiny stools. You can't order it to go even if you're sitting at one of the communal tables in the food hall, you can only get pre-prepared sushi from the grab and go area.

Ok, new spot yall, very good food. Had the B. Farmers special which is a turkey sandwich. Totally caught my attention on how fresh/moist the meat looked. The sandwich was awesome. Got to get "cherry" fritter which was awesome. Use to apple fritters, first ever cherry fritter. It is seasonal so why not try it. Now, had the tacos today, grilled steak and chicken. Now food was very good. However, I am use to cilantro and onion only on my tacos. How you serving this dish and don't have cilantro??? Huh ? What? Tacos and burritos being served and no cilantro?????? ummmmmmmmmmmm, no.

Wells Street Market is a food hall that recently opened (as of June 2018) with tons of options for lunch. Food halls are great because there is a communal feel, more modern than your average cafeteria or food court in a mall.Located right across from Merchandise Mart on 205 W Wacker Dr., they are open Mon-Fri 11am-8pm, with the option to dine-in or carry out. They also have lots of bar and table seating.Full List:Firecakes (cupcakes)Tempesta (sandwiches)Piggie Smalls Gyro ShopFARE (build-your-own Mediterranean)Furious Spoon (ramen)Tabo SushiThe Chow BrosPork & Mindy'sDos Toros (taqueria)Flowers for Dreams (florist)Grand Central BarI met up with a friend here for lunch for ramen at Furious Spoon. They have a buzzer device you can take with you while you find seating, which will buzz when your order is ready. Lunch was quick and convenient, but with fresh, hearty food from top-notch vendors. I love the bustling vibe of food halls, and it's right off the River Walk. Drop in on your own or with a group, there's something for everyone!

I've been here twice in the past week. My first time was for ramen at Furious Spoon and just went to Pork & Mindy's a few days ago. It's a nice add to the area but seems a little over-hyped in my opinion. The space is small so expect to be packed like sardines during lunch. The food tasted average and is not cheap. Furious Spoon gives out buzzers to let you know when your food is ready which is nice since you can try to grab a seat first. My ramen was ~$15.50 and my smallish pork bao + pig candy side was ~$12. My ramen noodles stuck together and the soup was lukewarm and kept splashing on me due to the huge lump of noodles that I tried separating. The bao was meh. It was missing something. The pig candy was great though. I didn't expect it to be a prepacked thing...I saw some other people ordering the other sandwiches which didn't look that appealing to me.Overall, I'll go back to check out the other venues but won't be reordering from Furious Spoon or Pork & Mindy's again.

Loved visiting this space while in the loop. I've only been to French Market and now Wells Street Market. Located inside a building, there were many people who were in the corporate having a lunch break. While French Market has a "market" section, I don't recall seeing one at WSM, but maybe I missed it. While my 3 friends got Furious Spoon, I tried Fry the Coop since I've never had a Nashville Chicken Sandwich. Service was good but it was rather quite expensive for a meal-- but I'm guessing that may be typical where I was at. Getting a seat for 4 can be quite challenging but because 3 of my friends got the ramen, we sat at the bar. I couldn't pass on Firecakes donuts so I got some to go for later. The space itself was bright, open, loud, and modern. Walking in made me want to eat! Would love to visit again for lunch if I'm in the area.

Wells St. Market is ah~mah~zing! It's a chef driven food hall on the first floor of 205 West Wacker Drive full of really solid fast, casual spots from well known food artists.Seriously there are so many great places in the hall - Flowers for Dreams, Tempesta Market, Piggie Smalls, Pork and Mindy's, Tabo Sushi, Dos Toros Taqueria, Furious Spoon, Firecakes Donuts, The Chow Brothers and Fare. I was able to try Firecakes, Tabo, Pork and Mindy's plus Fare this evening and they were all excellent! It's such a well organized and modern space, loved it! I could see it getting insanely busy during weekday lunches which is understandable when there are so many good options in there. Excellent addition to the Loop!

I love this market. I have tried Piggie Smalls (chicken gyro is great), Tabo Sushi (solid grab and go sushi), and Fare (their smoothies are filling and delish/they sell Recess CBD drinks). My lunches from Wells St. Market are consistently good and on par for solid quick lunch in the city and around $10ish. If you have more time to "dine-in", they have a small patio which is great when the weather is nice. I recommend avoiding the lunch rush by going before noon or after 1pm.

Great new "Chef Driven" Food Hall concept in the heart of the loop! Nice layout but too small of a space so when you go at high noon and can't move, don't blame me! Vendors include: Tempesta Market, Pork & Mindys, Piggie Smalls Gyros, The Chow Bros, Furious Spoon, Dos Toros Taqueria, Tabo Sushi, Firecakes, Fare & Grand Central Bar. Try the sandwiches at Tempesta Market, you will not be disappointed. Very busy at peak times & slightly pricey! Don't forget the flowers
