This place is fun! Right now they are taking hour-long reservations on their patio and there's plenty of heaters to go around and tables are nicely spaced apart. The wine we tasted was mostly red blends, all were very good. Very reasonably priced, and the staffer did a great job explaining the wines and making it a fun experience. We even joined the wine club - which we never do after only one time at a winery. And it's a big plus that it's one of the only wineries on West Seattle Island. We used to be regulars at a few wineries in Georgetown/SoDo - that's hard now.

This weekend i rounded up some friends to check this place out, because I live in West Seattle and I need to check out the wineries that are in West Seattle! The place is very cozy and intimate. I suggest checking this spot out for a date night (we brought our kids, so not as intimate). The staff are incredible, and the wine is really good. I particularly enjoyed the Cab Franc!Bonus - they are kid and dog friendly!

Super cute neighborhood Tasting Room in the west side. The wines were wonderful. Quaint space to gather and sip on some good wine. 2 whites and some reds in there tasting flight all were good. Cheers to wine makers for producing good wines in a great neighborhood, staff welcoming and in a super chill atmosphere.

The staff here is extremely friendly. They welcomed us in and kept the wine flowing. Very knowledgeable and willing to explain in whatever level you're interested in. The space is small but very accommodating. I would recommend visiting on a nice day so you can make the most of the patio.

Yesterday I rounded up some friends and headed to Welcome Road Winery's Grand Opening. I was very excited when I heard that another winery is joining the Seattle Urban Winery crew, particularly on the south/south-west end. Welcome Road Tasting Room appears to be the first business to open up in the new Rally Townhouse development off California Ave SW. Owners Leigh and Kristen were very welcoming, even with the large amount of customers and dogs who fit into the small shop. The space is very small with no seating except for on the outside patio shared with the sidewalk. Decor consists of a pair of skis, a faux fireplace and alpine-themed images. They charged a $5 tasting fee (refunded with a bottle purchase). Prices very from $16-$34 a bottle. All of us were unfortunately underwhelmed with the wines--this happened to be our first stop of the day too with fresh palates. The wines tasted quite young. Give the vintages another 2 years and they could become something good. If we were to pick our favorites, they would be the 2013 Malbec and 2012 Atelier, of course the older pours. While I wouldn't say the wines were horrible, they are truly among big competition and talent in the area.Their Roadies Wine Club does have some nice perks including:- Free enrollment- 2 wine allotments per year of 4 bottles each; with free Seattle delivery- 15% discount on bottles; 20% on cases- Free tastings for you and 3 guests- Free Roadies-only parties - Swag - including our popular travel dog bowl- Use of the Wine Room for events (with wine purchase)Welcome Road definitely caters to any and all local families with pooches. I welcome them to the neighborhood and wish them the best!

I'm so thrilled that this boutique winery is right in the heart of downtown Bellingham. Every single wine is exceptionally sumptuous. The atmosphere is down to earth and the service is warm, attentive and welcoming. The price point is a bargain particularly for this high quality of wine. I became a member immediately which provides myself and 3 friends a free monthly tasting plus several others discounts and benefits. If you love wine and want to chill in a unpretentious atmosphere this is the place.
