I had a great burger and fabulous Blood Orange Cali beer for lunch yesterday. I haven't been here for years even though it's right near my house. I'll be back soon. I mostly dine alone and felt very comfortable here despitthe brunch groups. Friendly place. Fast service. Good food.

This place is near work, so I have stopped in to kill time before meeting my husband. I really like the tone of the place, and they do have daily draft specials on some days. It has been my experience that they get very crowded when something is going on at Soldier Field. The bartenders I have encountered have been very outgoing and fun. While they do have outdoor seating, it is very limited.

Open late but the kitchen closes at 10 which was disappointing bc we missed it by a few minutes. Half off wine on Wednesday which is a great deal. Good vibes, sports playing on screens, not too loud or crowded. Only three tables outside though so if you're lucky you can snag one.

I really like the people and the place. We felt right at home even though we are from Alabama. We sat, ate and drank while seated in comfortable couches. Food was really good including burgers chicken sandwiches, and chips. The beer is cold and Soldier Field is only a short walk away.

Grabbed a couple drinks here the other night with my best friend and enjoyed the atmosphere. There happened to be a few specials that night: half priced bottles of wine and $12 pizzas. We indulged in the wine special by ordering a couple bottles of rose. We skipped on the pizza and ordered a couple apps (cheese curds and boneless wings). The wings were good but the curds were over fried so I'd recommend passing on those. Our waitress was nice despite having some other rowdy tables she was handling. Overall a good experience.

One of the things I appreciate most about this place is its convenience; being in my neighborhood makes it super accessible for me. Over time, I've tried various items from their menu, ranging from the white cheddar curds to the quesadilla and even the beyond burger. Tonight, I opted for the fish tacos, which are offered either in taco form or on a bun. I went with the taco version, and while the overall taste was decent, I found the cod lacking in flavor. It seemed like they relied heavily on the aioli sauce and another unnamed sauce provided on the side to add flavor. The side sauce was particularly tasty, and I made sure to save it for future use. Service-wise, getting our orders in didn't take long, but given that it's both a bar and restaurant, the atmosphere can feel bustling and busy. Sometimes, especially during takeout orders or when trying to get staff attention, it can be a bit challenging. Despite these minor inconveniences, I still find myself returning for the convenience and variety of options on offer. Another standout aspect of the fish tacos is their generous portion size. Unlike some places where tacos can be on the smaller side, these tacos are satisfyingly substantial. The serving size is just right, providing a hearty meal that leaves you feeling fully satisfied. In fact, I was so hungry that I dug in right away and completely forgot to snap a picture of my food - a rarity for me!

Sadness. I must downgrade my review. What happened to the Cruzan Rum battered fish fry? *sigh*Went here for a fish fry, after a long absence. Sadly, it was not as good. The fish fillets were fine, but the breading was thick, not very crispy and downright soggy in places. The red cabbage slaw was still good, as was the dill tartar sauce. Specialty cocktails were OVERLY sweet. Generous size, which is good, but a bit too sweet.Service was stellar, the staff is friendly and attentive. But the fish fry is just not as good anymore. Woe.

We love this place and are frequent dine-in and delivery people. Yesterday I had their chile for the first time and it is The Best! Meaty and Beany with just the right amount of heat.
