Q, the founder and face of Qommunity and We Suki Suki, is one of the best restaurant and food service owners I've met. She was so kind and made incredible food recommendations. I got to enjoy the Bahn Mi Sandwich with Pork. My friends tried the sushi donut and poke bowls. All of us were so impressed with the food and service.Communal seating was fun too. Everyone was having a good time in there.

Interesting concept but doesn't really work when only the sushi place is open and the others are gone despite being inside of operating hours. As it was, only one style of food was available and it was only ok.

I enjoyed all my visits to We Suki Suki in East Atlanta Village (EAV). We Suki Suki is known for its "Global Grub Collective" or food court / food hall. It's a handful of small kitchens and counters/stands that serve - or have served - a variety of cuisines, from Cajun crawfish to Moroccan eggplant stew. To be clear, "We Suki Suki" isn't just the name of the food hall. We Suki Suki itself serves food too. This isn't a very big place with only about a half-dozen communal picnic tables inside the common area dining room. There is no outdoor patio/seating. I guess you could stand and eat at the small wooden counter outside the storefront, but it's not an ideal place given the customer traffic and busy sidewalk. We Suki Suki is pretty much in the heart of EAV. The space and atmosphere are consistent with the neighborhood's grungy, indie, hipster vibe.During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the dining room has been blocked off. The businesses converted to takeout, pick-up, and delivery only. I suggest ordering online to save time.Parking is free along Flat Shoals Ave SE and Glenwood Ave SE. If you don't like street parking, you can also park for free in lots next to and behind the building that We Suki Suki shares with other businesses. I prefer to park on the street because those lots have never been in good condition the times I've driven through and/or parked in them. Lots of pot holes. For a current list of vendors and their business hours, visit https://www.wesukisuki.com/the-global-grub-collective. Last I checked in mid-November 2021, they were:* DDDelicious Island Cuisine* EATAVISION STUDIOS: https://eatavision.com/* Lifting Noodles Ramen: https://www.yelp.com/biz/lifting-noodles-ramen-atlanta* M&M's Comfort Zone: https://www.yelp.com/biz/m-and-m-s-comfort-zone-atlanta* Mushi Ni: https://www.yelp.com/biz/mushi-ni-atlanta-3* Poke Burri: https://www.yelp.com/biz/poke-burri-atlanta-4* We Suki Suki: https://www.yelp.com/biz/we-suki-suki-atlantaCajXen Crawfish Boil, Dani Marco Tacos, and Marrakech Express were some relatively recent vendors that I don't think are around anymore at We Suki Suki.I've had the food from Poke Burri (poke bowls, sushi burritos, sushi donuts, sushi pizza, sushi corndogs, and more), sister restaurant Lifting Noodles Ramen, Marrakech Express (Mediterranean and Moroccan), and Mushi Ni (Asian bao bun sandwiches and bowls). I enjoyed and liked them all. I never got to try M&M's Comfort Zone (Southern comfort food) and We Suki Suki itself (Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches and bubble tea), but I always heard good things.Sadly, on November 11, 2021, owner Quynh "Q" Trinh announced she is closing We Suki Suki by the end of the year: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=4869302343100037&id=353864841310499. You can read more about what went into Q's decision to close in an Eater article published the same day: https://atlanta.eater.com/2021/11/11/22774863/we-suki-suki-global-grub-collective-food-hall-closing-east-atlanta-village.In the end, I thought We Suki Suki and the Global Grub Collective was a fun place to visit. My wife liked it, we took my oldest sister and niece here when they were visiting from out of town, and I've been here for a Yelp event. During the pandemic, I ordered online and picked up takeout from here. All of the chef-owners I've met or interacted with have been friendly and cool including Amal Alaoui (Marrakech Express), Seven Chan (Poke Burri, Lifting Noodles), and another guy who I believe was affiliated in some way with Q. Thanks for all the yummy food, good people, and fond memories, We Suki Suki. You will be missed.

Went in today for to-go lunch. While we were waiting chatted with Q the owner whom we had briefly met last spring during one of her Eatavision "dinner 'in' a movie experiences". She's such a great person and host! My wife got the grilled lemongrass chicken pho (I believe that's what it was - I walked in after she ordered so I didn't hear the name, but I attached the photo)...anyway it was delicious. The chicken was tender and plentiful, and the noodles I believe are some kind of Japanese rice noodles(?), chives, cilantro and a bunch of wonderful flavor. Very fresh and very good for a cold rainy day. Prices are very reasonable and you get a large quantity of "bang for your buck"!Location is great and there is ample (but tight) parking all around in the "village".Highly recommend and will return, probably once a week if my wife has anything to say about it!For those of you curious about my earlier "Eatavision" comment, here's a link to this awesome experience which features Q the owner and usually other East Atlanta Village business owners and residents putting on this very cool experience; lots of fun for the family:https://eatavision.com

We Suki Suki isn't only a restaurant, it is a self proclaimed "Global Grub Collective". Which essentially means it's a food hall or food court situated in a tiny space, with ~5 rotating kitchens/food stalls and a communal dining area. Some stalls are only open certain days/hours, and the same kitchen is used by another vendor during off hours. So be sure to check out the menu (linked below) to make sure the vendor you're trying to catch is open! Alternatively, just stop by and see what tickles your fancy, because I'm sure something will.I visited Qafe Pho Bar, and ordered the bahn xeo (Vietnamese savory crepe) and bahn bao (steamed bun). Super tasty and fresh. I'll be back to check out some of the other vendors as well!To see the current vendors and their hours: https://qommunityeav.com/

We Suki Suki, a global grub collective, is exactly what it states, being a building that houses several restaurants depending on what time of day you go. The last restaurant I caught here was Lifting noodles ramen, so I was excited to try We Suki Suki again. I got my order to go and bought the following:Crispy fried Brussel sproutsOriginal "Classic" ramenWhat did I think about these? Well let's talk about the food!Starting with their crispy fried Brussel sprouts, the flavor here was really good, nicely seasoned and sprinkled with sesame seeds but also very greasy! So greasy in fact that I was unable to finish them. I don't know if this was due to it being a to go order or not, but the grease was a real factor for me.The Original classic ramen was up next! Here's the thing with this ramen...I asked to remove all seaweed from the ramen because I'm allergic to it, and sadly there was seaweed included. I tried to pick as much of it as I could out, but it really became too much of a hassle and this was yet another dish that I just didn't finish.Located off of Flat Shoals Ave, there's street parking all up and down this road and several lots around. On weekends I wont lie, it can be a challenge to find parking. Even during covid times people were still here and parking was scarce...but it can be tough...not impossible. I can't speak to customer service because dining in wasn't an option at the time. I was excited to give these guys another try, and I'd go back again. For now with this order and this experience, I've had better. When I next pay them a visit, and I will, I hope to increase my score!

Delicious Banh Mi and boba teas. The service is relatively quick. The place is small and shares a space with other vendors. It can be hard to find a seat sometimes and they don't have the best hours.
