Came on a Saturday afternoon for dollar oysters. I can't find the hours for dollar oysters anywhere online so I called and found out for anyone who's curious: Thursday - Sunday: 5-7pm BUT on Friday and Saturday the oysters are bar-seats only and first come first serve. I recommend showing up latest around 6p (at least on Saturday). I've been here with friends a couple times, and I've ordered the uni bucatini and Jonah crab angel hair. Both pasta tasted great, and good portions. Pros:- Great cocktails and bartenders- Good service -- you may feel less attended or that service is significantly slower when it's super busy- Dollar oysters are great quality, very worth-it - I like the decor and space it self, modern and kinda fancy. Very cleanCons:- Regular food are a tad expensive, but great quality- Space can feel a little crowded at times (can get loud)

This is the spot my newly wedded friend chose to have her wedding reception at. It was absolutely wonderful! The restaurant is relatively small and intimate. There was an open bar with several excellent craft cocktails available. The food was buffet style and included a range of delicious foods: hamachi crudo, pizza, and delicious fresh-fried donuts were some of the highlights of the meal. Service was excellent. This was a great choice to celebrate such a special day!

Food was excellent! Kudos to the chef for creating and preparing such delicious dishes. 1. We ordered 3 different pastas - Uni bucatini, Jonah crab & angel hair, and the Lobster Cacio E Pepe. Magnificent taste, sauce, and fresh pasta! 2. Two pizzas - Smoked whitefish and Chopped Clam. Delicious flavors. Didn't smell or taste "fishy". The pizza crust was delicious...no flop on the slices. 3. Soft shell crab appetizer: well seasoned and prepared 4. WP Fish & Chips: HUGE portion of fish and plentiful chips. Comes with a tartar sauce and ketchup. But...despite the excellent food, the entire experience was practically ruined by the terrible service and dining experience that our party of 8 had. We came on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was not busy at all so I do not think that our party was overwhelming for the staff scheduled that evening. Our server was very standoffish and had a bit of a smug demeanor. Rather than talk us through any drink and food options, he decided to just proceed to take whatever orders from anyone in our group. He also told us that the food would just come out as soon as they're prepared, rather than asking us how we might want it coursed or at the order to send them out. What is a little frustrating is that he could have asked or at least noticed that we ordered as a group to share the selections "family style". As a result we had pasta dishes come out before the crab appetizer and pizzas, etc. He was also not very attentive with our beverages either. When one person in our group asked for a glass of water, he just pointed down to the other end of the table and said, "That looks like yours." Which would have been fine except the glass had clearly been sipped. It's a bit rude to to just not go and grab another clean full glass of water. We also had members of our party who ordered soft drinks and not once during our meal did he come by to ask if we wanted a refill or order any other beverages. The final piece of poor service came at the end of the meal as we were getting ready to settle our bill. Now I know restaurants don't like or have to do any accommodations to split our bill in any number of ways, and we weren't planning to split any more than 2-3 cards anyway. However, the servers first words were "I'm not going to split it 8 ways." Without even just politely asking us first how many cards we were going to think of using. Aside from the server, we noticed that almost every other employee working this evening looked miserable, disengaged, or downright angry or depressed looking. Not quite the ambiance to enjoy a relatively pricey dinner. I LOVED the food here, but with the less than enjoyable experience I really cannot recommend anyone I know to come check this place out. To be honest, our party felt like we couldn't get the heck out of there any faster.

Came a couple of times for their $1 oysters from 5-7pm on weekdays. I've been to a couple of places around Cambridge for $1 oysters and I think Waypoint has the BEST and the meatiest ones. It's the place I recommend to others who are looking for yummy $1 oysters and would definitely come back again for them. As an entree, I really like the crab and angel hair pasta.

Made reservations for a group of eight on a Saturday night and had a lovely time. It was pretty full, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. They have tables of all different sizes, as well as seats at the bar. The atmosphere is lively, but not too loud. Our server was friendly and attentive, and our waters never went empty. Each couple ordered their own dishes, but we got the Flatbread and Brussel Sprouts as a group. My partner and I shared the Fish and Chips, Hamachi Crudo, and Crab Angle Hair Pasta. We also tried their mocktails, which we enjoyed. We underestimated how large the portions would be, so I wouldn't recommend ordering more than three plates for two people. Each dish was enjoyable, flavorful, and had good textures.Overall, it's definitely not a cheap meal, but a good place to visit for any occasion for quality seafood.

We came in today with 5 of us for Mother's Day brunch; it was a 3-course pre fixe menu for $49. The food was quite good, and portions were very generous. For the first course we tried the Caesar salad and the Hash brown topped w/ smoked fish salad and smoked trout roe (very good). For the entree we had the Uni Bucatini topped w/ egg yolk - really creamy and delicious, their famous burger, and the Steak and eggs Benedict. All good. Then for dessert the rhubarb and strawberry Crostata topped w/ ginger ice cream and basil. Wow. Only downside was the slow service. We told them right when we arrived at 11 that we needed to leave by 12:30 to catch a plane, and the first course didn't arrive until an hour later, the entree half hour after that at 12:30, and dessert at 12:40, so had only a few moments to scarf our dessert and get out 15 minutes late. So stressful, but overall a nice Mother's Day meal.

Dropped by Waypoint for an early Friday dinner. We were initially seated at a tight two-person table between two other tables and under an air vent, but given there were lots of open tables, the host was kind enough to move us to a booth. We started with raw oysters (from NY) which were pretty good, though a bit brinier than expected. The absolute star of the evening was the Jonah crab and angel hair pasta -- punchy lemon flavor, perfectly cooked pasta, and a delicious topping of crab and jalapeños. We also got the fried fish sandwich with fries, which was good but not spectacular. Our server was nice / attentive and it was a great overall experience!Food:1. Raw Oysters (4/5)2. Jonah Crab and Angel Hair (5/5) -- so delicious3. WP White Fish Sandwich (4/5)

Great value seafood. We started with fresh New York oysters with a crisp horseradish. The crab angel hair was one of the best pasta dishes I've had in a year. Perfectly cooked with just the right amount of lemon. The fish sandwich was a bit over breaded and didn't put enough focus enough on the fish. Service was exceptional and the host kindly moved us to a booth when our original table was right under the air duct. Great date night spot!1. New York oysters - 4/52. Crab angel hair - 5/53. Fish sandwich - 3/5

We went for an early NYE dinner and the service was great. Quick and efficient. The drinks and ambiance were also perfect to get us in the new year mood (Highly recommend the Gin Runner). The food was really hit or miss though. The hits: Oysters were delicious - they need to bottle the hot sauce served with it and sell it because it was delicious. On NYE special they had A5 yakitori skewers and it honestly could have been the best bite of the year for me. It had an incredible celery root slaw, I'm still thinking about it Now the misses:Crab pasta and whitefish pizza. I wanted to love these so much because they were so unique and they had great elements in them to balance the flavors like the jalapeño in the pasta. They were just way too salty for my taste.
