Wayne's Corner Cafe

Recently visited Wayne's on a Saturday morning. Not too busy and was quickly seated. Lots of breakfast options on the menu, and I went with the corned beef hash. There are two options, homemade or canned. Of course, I went with the homemade not really knowing that that meant. The hash was cubes of corned beef, cabbage, and red peppers. The meat was done right and not very fatty. Eggs were over easy, which mixed in well with the hash browns. You can choose pancakes or toast and went with rye. No choices on jelly and it came with strawberry which I don't like. Considering that would have liked more butter.

Save your time and expectations and go elsewhere. The new owners can't keep this place going to save their life. Waynes has gone completely downhill. Noone speaks proper english. Ordering anything is a nightmare. One poorly trained, underage, snotty staff member after another. We've been coming here for years - Today was our last day. No more

This is a small cafe yet the 2 times we've been there, we haven't had a wait. I think it was luck. Their menu has good variety, the service was good, everyone was friendly and most importantly, the food was good. My fried chicken was a little over fried but still tasty. I love that they offer fried chicken! I figured this was more of a breakfast joint but this is an example of that good variety. It seemed clean and the tables weren't too crammed in next to each other. There are maybe 4 booths, the rest are tables.

Always good food. Good people. Good service. Breakfast great. Homemade potato salad is great.

Fail to understand why this place gets high ratings. All their entrees are frozen and taste like it. Dennys is better.

The worst food and service I have had in a long time. Took my oldest son's family to lunch last Saturday. ALL OF OUR MEALS were TERRIBLE. They couldn't even get a glass of ice water with lemon correct. It took 45 minutes to get our food. We think they forgot about us in the corner we were in. Will NEVER go there again. I would rather do fast food than this place. If I could do zero stars I would but it made me do one star.

I came in for breakfast, the ambiance is nostalgic and classic American Breakfast joint. Family friendly and delicious. The service was fast, the coffee was fresh and hot, and the garden delight omelette was tasty and filling. A great start to my morning.

Went recently for lunch. Had awesome service and good food.. And now they serve wine! 5 stars!

The second time I have gone to Wayne's after they have open for dinner: I ordered the pollo en chimichuri ( I had never heard or tasted it) Oscar the waiter explained it to me and answered any questions I had about it. I found it to be a excellent dish, it came with rice and beans. Oscar was very attentive to our. Needs refreshed our drinks a few times and making sure we had a ice meal. Over all an excellent experience. I highly recommend them for a quiet dining experience.
